Guru Poornima at Sai Devotees Home

Aum Sai Ram
I received this set of Snaps from a Sai Devotee Mrs. Padma Raghunath Bhattla. She was very Happy & excited to share the Snaps of Sai Baba of her Home on the Occasion of Guru Poornima.

She writes that she has been in Middle East for a very long time but each year she used to be in India for the Guru Poornima celebration. Due to Various reasons she could not travel to India & she decided to celebrate Guru Poornima at home along with Husband & Children. Herself & children happily spent time giving bath to Sai Baba & decorating him with a Beautiful Blue Dress.

She also wrote that it was exactly 2 years or more seeing the flowers there & she was lucky enough to get some flowers for the Guru Poornima. Here are the Snaps below of Sai Baba at her Home Puja Mandir.

Shri Shirdi ke Sai Baba Mandir, Avathi Post, Devanahalli Taluk. Bangalore Rural Dist.

Aum Sai Ram.

I Visited Shri Shirdi ke Sai Baba Mandir on 27th June 2010, Sunday. It is a Very Beautiful Temple build on a very big Area. This Temple is Near to Devanahalli Airport. It is around 5kms from Devanahalli town & around 12 Kms from Bangalore International Airport towards Chikballapur Road. Just Continue travelling on Hyderabad Road after Devanahalli & with in 5 kms we can find this temple towards the right hand side. The Dome on the Temple is visible from some distance.

Kindly see the Complete set of 30 Snaps of this temple
before reading the Description of this Temple.

This Temple has a Beautiful Statue of Sai Baba. As many as 5000 people can be seated in the Darbar. A maximum of upto 30,000 people can be accomadated in the whole temple Premises.

Nanda Deepa is situated Just behind the Statue of Sai Baba in a Enclosed Area. A Beautiful Marble Statue of Durga Devi is also in Front of Nanda Deepa. A Big Photo of Shri Chakra & Different types of Shri Chakras are on the Adjacent Wall of Nanda Deepa.

There is a Dwarkamai with Dhuni & Small Statue's of Sai Baba, Dattatreya & Goddess Laxmi sitting in front of Dhuni.

There is also a Gurusthan with Paduka of Baba Placed in it. The Neem Tree has Grown up very well. It seems even before the Sai Baba Temple was build, the Owner of the Temple had built a small room below the neem tree to keep the Photo of Sai Baba.

As & then the things started Materialising, a full fledge Temple with Big Sai Baba Marble Statue, Nanda Deepa, Dwarka Mai, Gurusthan & Meditation Hall was Constructed.

The Meditation hall is in front of the Neem & Pupil Tree. It has been build in the form of a Pyramid & with covered with Glass Panels in all Sides. A Photo of Shirdi Sai Baba & a Small Diya is lit inside the Meditation Hall.

The Complete area around the temple is full of Greenery & is so Calm that i felt like sitting in front of baba for some more time. This Temple is Maintained so well & all the Rituals like Aarti, Abhishek, Mantras, Ashthothara are done properly & in timely manner. There is a Small Counter inside the Temple premises selling Agarbathi, Books & Cds on Sai Baba.

Temple opens at morning 6am with the Kakad Aarti & closes at 8:30pm after the Shej Aarti. People visiting Nandi Hills can visit this place. It is a 5 Min drive towards Hyderabad Road from the Nandi Hills Deviation.

World's largest Statue of Sai Baba at Machlipatnam, Andhra Pradesh

Aum Sai Ram.
Today's Snap is of World's largest Statue of Sai Baba. Though i had posted the same article before some time in this blog, this Snap below is really very clear & showing the complete work of Sai Baba Statue.

To see the Previous Post on this Temple visit:

This Statue of Sai Baba is located in Machlipatnam a Coastal Town in Andhra Pradesh. The Height of the Statue is 54ft i.e about 6 storey High. If we compare the shops next to the Sai Baba Statue, we will understand the true height of the statue.

The two Lion faces of Baba's Thrown are the entrance to the Mandir. An additional floor is under Construction. Five Snake Heads are covering his head & appearing as Baba's Crown.

Machlipatnam being a Costal Town has good rains & i think this is Baba's way to take bath by Creating Rain.
