Today we view the photographs of "Guru Pournami Celebrations" at Sreelakshmi, Ganapathi & Sai Baba's temple at Jayasuryapatnam, Near Gurramguda village, Hyderabad.
These snaps have been shared to us by Mrs. Padma karunkaram who has been covering Sai Baba Temples at Kakinada & East Godavari Dist in Andhra Pradesh.
This temple is at a Distance of around 50kms from the State Capital Hyderabad. A Marble Statue of Sai Baba of height 3Ft has been installed in this temple. Sanctum of Sri Lakshmi, Ganapathi, Dattatreya & Sarpa Raja are present in this temple.
On Friday, 15th July 2011 Sai Baba's Guru Pournima was celebrated in this temple. At Around 8:00am Sai Baba's Abhishekam was performed with Milk, Rosewater, Chandan & Pushpa(Flower Petals). Abhishekam was also performed on all the dieties in the temple. Vishnu Sahasranaman & Lalitha Sahasranamam was chanted with the Abhishekam was performed to Sai Baba.
After Abhishekam Vastra & Pusha Alankaram was performed to Sai Baba & other dieties. Sai Baba's Ashtothara Shatanamavali Puja was performed & Mangal Aarti was shown after completion of Naivaithyam. Pradad was distributed to Sai Devotees present in the Temple.

Today we are going to visit a very unique Sai Baba Mandir Installed in the Sit Out/ Verandah of a Sai Devotees Residence at 3 Lights Junction in Kakinada Town of Andhra Pradesh.
This special articles has been sent to us by our Beloved Sai Devotee Mrs. Padma Karunakaram who has been writing articles in Sai photo blog for the past one year or so & covering Sai Temples in Kakinada Town & East Godavari Dist.
This temple is popularly referred as 'Ananda Sai' & has been installed at one of the Sai Devotees home near to the Famous Subbaiah Hotel at 3 Lights Junction, Kakinada town.
The family members have been worshiping Sai Baba as their guru for over 15 years. A Statue of Sai Baba made of cement has been installed in the Sit Out along with small statue of Dattatreya and Ganeshji. People from the Surrounding area's gather to perform Sai Baba Aarthis & Special Puja's are performed on Thursday's & Sunday's & on festivals.
As the Statue is quite big, A Large Shawl/ Saree of 5 - 6 mtrs is used to dress up Sai Baba. Sai Devotees visit this temple & also celebrate their Birthday's & Wedding Anniversary's & feel peace of Mind. Sai Baba Looks very focused on his Devotees in this temple & one could feel his presence here.

Guru Pournima 2011 was celebrated well at Sri Shirdi Sai Cultural Centre, Syndicate bank Colony in Bangalore. Baba's Simhasan & Sanctum were decorated well with flowers. A background representing rising sun or lotus petals was placed behind Sai Baba's Statue.
Special Puja, Abhishek, Archana, Aarti & Naivaithyam were performed to Sai Baba on Guru Pournima day. Sai Devotees close to 5000 members visited Sai Temple on Guru Pournima Day to take the blessing of their spiritual guru.
Though the Quality of snaps are a little low, i was lucky enough to receive them at the right time so that Sai Devotees visiting Sai Photo Blog could take his darshan & his blessing .
This temple is celebrating its Temple anniversary on Sunday, 31st July 2011. Sai Devotees In & Around Bangalore are here by Invited to Attend the Celebrations & make the event a grand Success. This is my Personal Invitation to all Sai Devotees.

Today we are visiting the Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir at Shirdi Sai Baba Nagar, Tumkur which has been recently inaugurated & opened to Sai Devotees on 15th may 2011. We had posted about the Vigraha Prathishta at this Mandir during our earlier article.
It has been quite some time but as i could not procure the Photo Cd of the Prana Prathistha Ceremony at this temple, the snaps have not been uploaded at Sai Photo Blog.
On Friday, 15th July 2011 on Guru Pournima Day, i was lucky enough to visit this Mandir for the Morning Kakad Aarti & Abhishek. Sri Sai Baba's Statue of height 5Ft is made of a Pure Makrana marble by Saysh Moorti Kala Kendra, Jaipur.
This two storey temple has been beautifully constructed with granite flooring & well designed roofing with floral pattern. The First Floor houses the 5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba. On the Ground floor a 3ft Statue of Sai Baba sitting in Dwarakamai Posture has been installed & the ground floor is used as Dhyan Mandir/ Meditation hall. A Well Designed Raja Gopuram resembling that of the Gold Gopuram in Shirdi has been constructed on the temple.
On Guru Pournima, the Day Started with kakad Aarti, Special Sheerabhishek to the Utsav Murthy of Sri Sai Baba. Mini Aarti was performed by 9am followed by morning break fast prasad being served to Sai Devotees. Chanting of Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam & Sri Vishnu Sahasranam Stotram by Sai Devotees followed by Madhyan Aarti was performed by 12:30pm. Naivaithya Prasadam was served to Sai Devotees after completion of Noon Aarti.
At 6:30pm Sai's Dhoop Aarti was performed. At around 7:00pm special Satsang & Guru Vandana program was conducted. Dr. Shri Shivananda Shivacharya Swamiji of Shri Kshetra Hiremath, Tumkur participated in the event & gave guest lecture on Guru Bhakthi. The event ended with Facilitation to Swamiji.
The Day ended with Bhajan Sandhya & Prasad Distribution to Sai Devotees gathered in the temple.
1. This temple is situated opposite to Tuda Office, Shirdi Saibaba Nagar in Tumkur. The temple is at a stone throw distance from Tuda Office and Mahatma Gandhi Stadium.
2. The Temple Bhoomi Pooja was performed in July 2007.
3. Dwarakamai is situated in the Ground Floor of the Mandir and was inaugurated on 31st October 2009.
4. The Saibaba Temple situated in the first floor was inaugurated on 15th May 2011 by Dr. Sri.Sri.Sri.Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga Mutt.
5. The Temple opens at 06:00 AM with the Morning Kakad Aarti & is closed at 8.30 PM with the completion of Shej Aarti.
6. A Beautiful Marble Idol of Shirdi Saibaba about 5ft is present in the Mandir. One Panchaloha Idol and One Silver Idol of Sai Baba is placed in front of the main Idol and is used for Daily Abhishekam.
7. Marble Padukas is present in front of Saibaba Idol. Marble Idol of Nandi is present outside the temple premises facing the main Saibaba Idol as in Shirdi.
8. Pictures depicting Sai Baba’s Life Story has been hung on the Inner Wall of the Mandir.
9. A Beautiful Marble Idol of Dwarakamai Baba is present in Dwarakamai.

Mangal Snan is performed daily at the temple at 6:40 AM in the morning immediately after Kakad Aarti.

Sai Sansthan, Shirdi celebrated its 111th year of Guru Poornima. On the occasion of 'Guru Purnima' festival, a large number of people flocked to Shirdi, to offer their prayers to their Guru "Shri Sai Baba" on Friday 15th July 2011.
"Baba is the central force of the universe. When Baba used to sit in the shrine, his followers used to offer prayers and worship him on the Guru Poornima (full moon day). This practice gained prominence ever since and has been followed till date, to commemorate Baba's influence on his followers," said Vidya Kshirsagar, a priest.
Due to the Serial Bomb Blast in Mumbai on 13th July 2011, there was drop of about 10 - 15% of Sai Devotees visiting shirdi for the 3 Day annual Guru Poornima Celebrations starting from 14th July 2011 till 16th July 2011.
Devotees offered Garlands, Sweets & Gold / Diamond / Silver Items to the Shrine of the Saint, as they sought his blessings. The Samadhi Mandir remained open the entire night for devotees to have Baba's Darshan.
This year Donations mainly in the form of Daimond Studded Gold Crown, A Agarbathi Stand in the Design representing "OM" & A Gold Shiva with Sarpa(Naga Raj) were present to Shirdi Sai Baba at Sai Sansthan, Shirdi. 5.25 Crore Rupees in Donations were received at the end of Guru Poornima 2011 Celebrations.
When Sai Baba gives to his devotees, he does so wholeheartedly without any limits and during Gurupournima 2011 his devotees too were in the same mood and donated to HIM wholeheartedly.
During the 3 days Gurupournima Celebrations from 14th to 16th July 2011, over 2.5 lakh Pilgrims visited the Sai Baba Temple @ Shirdi and made a Record Donation worth Rs 5.25 Crores to Baba.

This Sai Baba Temple has been constructed on the Main Road connecting Vizag to Vijayawada. This Road is always crowded with Lorries, Buses, Tractors & Pedestrians.
The Orignial Clay Statue of Shirdi Sai Baba was installed on a Rock in 1953. Travellers & Mainly Lorry Drivers beleived in the existence of Sai Baba & used to light agarbatti & camphor when ever traveling in this road with a belief that Sai would safe guard them.
At Present a two storeyed Big Temple has been constructed with the donations & efforts from local public. The old clay statue of Sai Baba is kept in the Ground Floor and used for functions, ceremonies & Palki Utsavs. An attractive Marble statue of Baba has been installed in the First floor. Sai Baba's Dhuni is also placed in the First floor.
On Thursday's, Sunday's & other special days Baba's Aarti, Abhishek & Special Puja are performed in this temple. A Beautiful Silver Simhasan & Silver Crown has been installed & Baba looks quite charming wearing the silver Crown.

Tumkur Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Dwaraka Mandira, also popularly called as Euro School Sai Baba Temple in Tumkur celebrated its 3rd Guru Pournima Celebrations on 14th & 15th July 2011 in a very grand way.
The Guru Pournima Celebrations commenced on Thursday 14th July 2011 at 5:30am with Ananthakoti Kakad Aarti, Bhupali to Sri Sai Baba. Maha kumbabishek, Gangajala Snan, Sheerabishek was performed after the completion of kakad Aarti & Special Vastra Alankaram, Pushpa Alankaram was performed to Sri Sai Baba.
At Noon Madhyan Aarti was performed & Prasad was distributed. By evening 4:00pm Paduka Puja, Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam, Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam was performed by Ladies from the Sai Parivar. By 6:00pm Sai's Dhoop aarti was performed & naivaithyam was given to Sai Baba. Maruthi Mandali from Melekote, Tumkur performed special Bhajan Sandhya between 6:30pm till 8:00pm & it was quite peaceful to hear to melodious Sai Baba Bhajans. The 1st Day ended with evening Aarti & Distribution of Prasad.
On Friday, 15th July 2011 at around 5:45am, Kakad Aarti was performed to Sri Sai Baba by Sri Chandrashekar Baba who has been considered as Guruji in this temple. Sri Chandrashekar Baba is the Founder of Sri Sai Seva Shakti Trust in Mysore, Karnataka & conducts various social activities to benefit all Human Beings.
At around 6:30 am after the completion of Kakad Aarti, Sheerabishekam was performed on Sri Shirdi Sai Baba & Sai Devotees were allowed to Perform Abhishekam on Sai Baba. Mrs & Mr. Sri Angadi Hiremath, Tumkur Sessions Court Judge were invited to attend the Celebrations & the Abhishekam was commenced by Them.
The Sheerabishekam went for around 2 hours & All Sai Devotees present in the temple got the Chance to perform Abhishekam on Sri Sai Baba. At Around 9:00am, Baba's Abhishekam got completed & Vastra Alankar & Pushpa Alankar were performed on Sri Sai Baba. Naivaitheyam was fed to Sai Baba & a Mini Aarti was performed on Baba. A New Simhasan has been unveiled today & Installed in the temple premises. Sai Baba looks happy sitting in the new Raja Simhasan.
At around 12:30 pm Baba's Madhyan Aarti was performed & Distribution of Prasad commenced. Special Horse Chariot was brought from Bangalore & Sai Baba's Fiber statue of height 5.5ft was installed on the Chariot. Sai Baba's Shobha Yatra Ratotsav commenced by around 2:00pm. Sri Angadi Hiremath, Tumkur Sessions Court Judge flagged off the event.
Around 25 Bikes, 25 Cars, Buses, Tractor with Nadaswaram Team, Orchestra followed the Shobha Yatra & covered the entire length of Tumkur Town covering all Major Roads & Residential Areas. After covering around 15kms the Rath was brought back to the temple premises by around 4:45pm.
Sai Baba's Dress was Changed by 5:00pm before the Dhoop Aarti. Palki Utsav of Sai Baba got delayed due to light showers in between. But due to the grace of Baba, the rains stopped after 15 mins & the Palki Utsav was performed around the temple Premises.
At 6:30pm Sai Baba's Dhoop Aarti was performed & Naivathyam was given to Baba. At 7:00pm Special Bhajan Sandhya by Sri Chandra Kumar, Blind Artist, Music Director & team got commenced. At the begining the bhajans were Slow & quite melodious. As the time passed by fast beat Sai Baba Songs were sung by the Artist & every one started to Dance. Different Fast beat Bhajans were sung continuously & every one was encouraged to dance, feel happiness & Divine bliss.
At the end of the Ceremony, Sai Devotees participating in various Activities, Donors for the event & the Bhajan Troop were Facilited with Garland, Baba's Shawal & Momento. The 2 Day Guru Pournima Celebrations got completed by around 11:00pm & it was a very pleasent Experience.
This was the first time ever that i participated in the Shobha Yatra & i got the Chance to lead the entire team. It is a Life time Experience personally for me.

Agraharam area is near uppaada bus stand & brahmins have been staying in this area for quite some time. This temple of Shirdi Sai Baba is near to Dattatreya temple which was built by Sri Ganapathi Sachidaanada, a Spiritual Guru with Ashram at Mysore in Karnataka.
People believe that the first Datta Avatar Sri Paada Sri Vallabha's house was here, where in Dattatreya's temple has been built now. Statue of Goddess Anaghaa Devi is also installeded in the temple Premises. This temple of Sai Baba is very old and the statue along with Simhasan is made of clay.
All the four Aarti & regular puja is performed daily & special puja is performed on thursdays & other festivals. The Statue of Sai Baba is so well preserved that he look quite fresh. A Silver Crown has been placed on Baba's head & looks quite impressive.
