This is the 4th Temple visited by me during my 13th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Rajahmundry on Tuesday, 20th Mar 2012.
My 13th Pilgrimage at Rajahmundry Started with a Visit to:
Sri Sundara Sai Baba Mandiram, Goshpada Kshetram, Kovvur.
Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Sannidi, Dr.Anangpaul Street, Kovvur.
Sri Seetha Rama Anjaneya, Sri Shirdi Sai Mandiram, Near Gaddi Rayadu Hospital, Kovvur.
Sri Sundara Sai Baba Mandiram, Goshpada Kshetram, Kovvur.
Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Sannidi, Dr.Anangpaul Street, Kovvur.
Sri Seetha Rama Anjaneya, Sri Shirdi Sai Mandiram, Near Gaddi Rayadu Hospital, Kovvur.
As Said in my previous Article, I covered various Sai Baba temple in between but I'm putting the article on this temple as i'm covering area wise to benefit Sai Devotees who would be interested in making such Pilgrimages to Sai Temples on the Route given by Me.
Nidadavolu Town in West Godavari Dist is around 18kms from Rajahmundry & 14 kms from Kovvur. There are 4 temples of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba in this Small town & this is the 1st temple visited by me on Tuesday 20th Mar 2012.
Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandiram at Chinnakasi Revu is near to the Railway Tracks near to Nidadavolu Railway Station & one has to cross the tracks to reach the temple. The Actual road towards the temple is round about & one has to cross the Railway gate heading towards Tadepalligudem & take a Left turn immediately after the gate to reach this temple.
This temple is in the Banks of Godavari Canal that flows behind this temple. Chinna Kasi Revu is a place with cluster of temples.
Foundation Stone to Build a temple for Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was laid on 13th March 1994 & the Vigraha & Prana Prathistha Ceremony was performed on 31st Aug 1994.
A 5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba along with Pancha Loha Utsav Murthy of Sri Sai Baba, Sri Ganesh & Nagaraja (Subramanya as Snake God) are installed in the temple premises.
Daily Abhishek & all the 4 Aarti's are performed regularly. On Thursdays Special Puja is performed & Bhajans are performed in the evening after the Dhoop Aarti.
Special Puja & Annadanam is performed on Sri Rama Navami, Guru Pournima, Sai Punyathithi & On Temple Anniversary Day held during the Dussehra. Large No of Sai Devotees gather here to perform Palki Seva & Satsangs during the festival season.
Baba's Dhuni has been installed next to the River banks & Agni has been maintained from the day the temple has been build. A Black Granite Statue of Shiva is also installed in the temple premises.
