Guru Pournima 2012 Celebrations at Sri Shirdi Baba Mandir, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama Road, Amarjyothi Layout, Tumkur.

Guru Pournima 2012 Celebrations were performed very grandly in this newly built temple of Sri Sai Baba. The Whole temple was lavishly decorated with Special Flowers & a Chariot with a Fibre statue of Sri Sai Baba was decorated for the procession.

The Day started with Kakad Aarti & Special Puja at 6:00am. Sai Baba's Statue was well decorated with a new pair of Dress & Turban. After the Alankar Aarti was performed & Prasad was distributed to Sai Devotees present in the temple.

Rudrabishekam was performed to the Shivling present below the Neem Tree at the Gurusthan by 9:00am. After the completion of the Rudrabishekam, Procession was carried around the areas adjacent to the temples. Bikshazali was performed during the procession & the amount & grocery thus collected were utilised in performing Annadhan in the Noon & evening.

After the Procession returned back to the temple, Mid Day Aarti to Sri Sai Baba was performed & Prasad was distributed to Sai Devotees.

My evening 6:00pm Sai Baba's Dhoop Aarti was performed. Bhajan sandhya was organised & was performed till 8:30pm till the Shej Aarti got ready to be performed.

The Program ended with Shej Aarti to Sri Sai Baba by 9:30pm & prasad was distributed to Devotees present in the temple premises.

Guru Pournima 2012 Celebrations at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir Trust, Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Nagar, Tumkur.

Sri Sai Baba's Guru Pournima Celebrations were performed very grandly at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir Trust, Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Nagar, Tumkur on Tuesday, the 3rd July 2012. This being the 2nd Year of Celebrations after the temple was opened in 2011, The celebrations were performed elaborately.

Sai Baba's Sai Satcharita Parayan Saptah was performed between 27th June 2012 till 03rd July 2012 to mark the Guru Pournima Day.

On Guru Pournima, By 6:00am Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti was performed amidst Sai Devotees from the Sai Parivar that gather at this mandir. By 7:00am Mangal Snan was performed to the Moola Vigraha installed in the temple Sanctum.

Panchamrutha Abhishekam was performed to the Utsav Murthy of Sri Sai Baba by 8:00am followed by Vastra & Pushpa Alankar & Aarti. Prasad was distributed after the Morning Abhishek & Aarti.

By 9:30am Guru Vandana Program & Inauguration of newly installed Gold Simhasan for Sri Sai Baba was performed in the Presence of Sri Sri Sri Shivakumara Swamiji, the Head Pontiff of Sri Siddaganga Mutt in Tumkur. At the age of 105yrs, he actively participated in the Inauguration ceremony of the Newly Installed Gold Simhasan & was happy to See Sri Sai Baba on the Gold Throne.

By 10:30am Sri Mahaganapathi Homa, Navagraha Homa, Mrithyunjaya & Vastu Homa along with Sri Sukta, Purusha Suktha & Sri Sai Baba's Ashtothara Homa were performed & the purnahuti program got completed by 12:30pm before the Mid Day Aarti.

By 1:00pm Vastra Dhan for the Poor & Handicapped was performed & Prasad was distributed to All Sai Bandhu's present in the temple premises.

By 5:00pm Vishnu Sahasranama Chanting & Sai Baba's Ashtothara chanting were performed by the Ladies wing of the Sai Parivar followed by Dhoop aarti at 6:30pm.

Palki Utsav was performed for the first time with the newly purchased Sai Baba's Palki around the temple after the evening Aarti.

Spiritual discourses were performed till 9:30pm & Sai Baba's Shej Aarti was performed by 10:00pm. Prasad was distributed to Sai Devotees present in the Temple.

Guru Pournima 2012 Celebrations at Tumkur Shirdi - Sri Sai Baba Dwaraka Mandir, Tumkur.

Sri Shirdi Sai Baba's Guru Pournima Celebrations were organised at Tumkur Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Dwaraka Mandira, also popularly called as Euro School Sai Baba Temple in Tumkur on Monday & Tuesday, The 2nd & 3rd July 2012. This being the 4th year of Guru Pournima, Celebrations was organised in a very grand way.

The Guru Pournima Celebrations commenced on Monday 02nd July 2012 at 5:30am with Ananthakoti Kakad Aarti, Bhupali to Sri Sai Baba. Gangajala Snan, Sheerabishek, Chandan Snan was performed after the completion of kakad Aarti & Special Vastra Alankaram, Pushpa Alankaram was performed to Sri Sai Baba.

By 12:30 pm after Noon Madhyan Aarti was performed, A 24 Hour Gayatri Homam & Sri Sai Baba Moola Mantra Homan commenced in a Specially designed Leaf like Shaped Agni Kunda. This being a Unique feature for this years celebrations got lot of Sai Devotees Attention & 50 Sai Parivar Families participated in the Homam event that was performed till the next day noon.

In the evening Sai Baba's Dhoop Aarti was performed by sunset followed by Sai Bhajan Sandhya by local Bhajan Troupe from Tumkur. Sai Baba's Shej Aarti was performed at around 9pm & the temple was kept open through out the night to facilitate Sai Devotees visiting temple to participate in the Homam.

On Tuesday 3rd July 2012, On the Guru Pournima Day, Sri Sai Baba's Kakad Aarti followed by Mangal Snan, Sheerabishek, Chandan Snan were performed by Selected Sai Devotees early in the morning between 5:30 am to 7:00 am followed by Vastra Alankaram, Pushpa Alankaram.

Prasad Consisting of Vegetable Upma & sheera was served as prasad to Sai Devotees present for the Morning Puja by around 7:30am.

By 9:00am, A Specially Designed Glass Enclosure of 4ft height was installed around Sai Baba's Simhasan & Special Pushpa Abhishek with around 10 varieties of Flowers & scented leaves was performed to Sri Sai Baba. The Flowers & leaves were filled up one after the other till Baba's Chest & it was a very Special Moment to See our Most Lovable Guru Sri Sai Baba being completely covered with fresh flowers & scented leaves.

By 10:00am, Blood Donation Camp got commenced & Sai Devotees were encouraged to Donate blood & to get the blessings of Sri Sai Baba. This camp continued till the Noon Aarti & Prasad.

By 12:00pm, Sai Baba's Madhyan Aarti commenced after the Naivaithya consisting of Brinjal Rice, Curd Rice & Jilebi Sweet were served to Sri Sai Baba. After the Madhyan Aarti, the 24hr Gayatri Homam & Sri Sai Baba Moola Mantra Homam was concluded after the Poornahuti Ceremony. Many varieties of Dry Fruits, Nuts & Spices, Root Extracts, Ghee & a Silk Cloth was placed in a big vessel. All the Sai devotees present in the temple were allowed to touch the plate & finally it was handed over to the Chief Priest who performed the Purnahuti Ceremony.

Naivaithya Prasad was distributed to Sai Devotees in Buffet System. Around 500 Sai Devotees had the Prasad after the noon aarti.

By around 2:00pm, Sai Baba's Fiber statue of height 5.5ft was installed on a Well Decorated Tractor & Sai Baba's Shobha Yatra was performed around Tumkur Town Covering all Major Areas. Traditional Cultural Events like Veeragase & Nasik Dhool were performed enroute the Procession. By 6:00pm the Shobha Yatra Rath reached back at the Mandir.

By evening 4:00pm, Baba Paduka Puja, Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam, Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam was performed by Ladies from the Sai Parivar while the Shobha Yatra was in progress in the streets of Tumkur.

By 6:00pm after the return of the Shobha Yatra, Veeragasa was performed yet another time in the temple & blessings were given to all Sai Devotees present in the temple.

Sai Baba's Palki Utsav commenced by around 6:30pm after the Veeragasa Dance Presentation & was performed inside the Mandir Complex. Sai Baba's Nama was chanted during the Palki Utsav & reached back to the Mandir.

Sai Baba's Dhoop Aarti was performed & naivaithyam was given to Sai Baba. A All Women Sai Bhajan from Bangalore performed Special Bhajan Sandhya between 7:00pm to 8:30pm & it was quite peaceful to hear to melodious Sai Baba Bhajans.

Sai Devotees present in the temple were provided with Prasad after the Dhoop Aarti Consisting of Vegetable Fried Rice, Onion Raitha & Dhoodh Peda. Around 1500 Sai Devotees were fed the Baba's Evening Prasad.

The Day ended with Shej Aarti to Sri Sai Baba at around 10:00pm & the temple was open till 11:00pm to allow Sai Devotees to have a Mukh darshan of Sri Sai Baba & to get his blessings.

4th Anniversary Celebrations at Sri Sai Baba Dwaraka Mandir, Euro School Road, Sharada Devi Nagar, Tumkur. Karnataka

The 4th Anniversary Celebrations at Tumkur Shirdi - Sri Sai Baba Dwaraka Mandir popularly referred as Euro School Sai Baba Mandir took place on Sunday, 04th March 2012.

This is one of the few temples that i visit regularly to invoke the grace of Sri Sai Baba. The Magnificent Presence of Sai Baba is Enormous & it is a pleasant sight to keep on seeing him.

In Brief it is the best preserved temple of Sai Baba that i have ever visited till date after completing several of my pilgrimage to Sai Baba temple at various places in India covering around 350 temples of Sai Baba.

The 4th Anniversary Celebrations started at around 5:30am with Kakad Aarti to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. The temple complex was completely decorated with Lighting fixtures. Special arrangements were made for the Sudarshana Homam & the Sudarshana Chakram was drawn on the floor of the temple with colour rangoli powders.

All the programs of the day were held under the gracious presence of Sri Chandra Shekar Baba from Mysore. Special Milk Abhishekam, Mangal Snan, Vastra Alankar, Pushpa Alankar, Deepa Alankar & Mangal Aarti were performed by 6:30am.

At Around 9:00am Kalas Stapan & arrangements to perform Sri Ganapathi Homam, Sri Navagraha Homam, Sri Mritunjaya Homam, Sri Maha Sudarshana Homam & Sri Shirdi Sai Moola Mantra Homam commenced. The Sankalpam & Kalas Puja were performed by Sri Ashok & Family the founders of the temple along with the purohits. Around 45 Couples participated in all the homam & 2 homa Kund were installed in front of the temple to complete the task.

A Silver Paduka for Baba's existing Marble Paduka in Samadhi was brought & placed on the Marble Paduka. Abhishekam was performed for the Paduka & a Paduka procession/ Pradakshina was performed around the temple by carrying the silver paduka on the head & chanting Sai Nama Japam. Silver Paduka was then decorated with Chandan & garlands & placed back on the Marble paduka of Sri Sai Baba.

Mean while Ganapathi Homam, Nava Graha Shanti, Mritunjaya Homam, Sri Maha Sudarshana Homam & Shirdi Sai Baba Moola Mantra Homam were being performed & the preparations for purnahuti was under way. Many varieties of Dry Fruits, Nuts & Spices, Root Extracts, Ghee & a Silk Cloth was placed in a big vessel. All the Sai devotees present in the temple were allowed to touch the plate & finally it was handed over to the temple founder who put them all into the fire. As all the items were being put into the fire, the fire god was happily glowing red. Purnahuti was successfully performed at around 12:30pm. The Madhyan Aarti was performed after the Purnahuti & Prasad meals consisting of Sambar Rice, Curd Rice along with Sheera were distributed to Sai Devotees in Buffet System. Around 350 Sai Devotees had the Prasad after the noon aarti.

Around 100 Sai Devotees from Bangalore & Mysore participated in the Temple Anniversary Celebrations.

At Around 5:30pm the Bhajan Program commenced in the temple lead by Sri Mahadevappa & Team from tumkur.

At 6:15pm, Baba's Palki procession commenced & Sai Baba's Jai Jai Kar & Sai Baba's Nama Japam were kept on chanting during the procession. Women & Men took equal turns to carry the Palki around the temple complex. After the Palki returned back to the temple, People with problems & mental distress were asked to bow down & go below the palki that was still held by the Sai Devotees. All the Sai Devotees bent & went through the Palki. I finally managed to bow down & walk below the palki even as the Sai Devotees carrying the palki them self wanted to go below it. After the completion of this ritual, the palki utsav ended.

The evening Dhoop Aarti then commenced at 6:45 pm. Naivaithyam was given to Sai Baba consisting of Vegetable Biryani & Sweets. After the Completion of the Dhoop Aarti, the prasad was distributed to the Sai Devotees present in the Temple.

Shej Aarti of Sai Baba was performed at around 9:00pm & the 4th Anniversary Celebrations were successfully completed.

Prasad was served to the Sai Devotees present in the temple after the Shej Aarti. Around 1000 odd Sai Devotees attended the celebrations & made this event a grand success.

Main Attraction of this event being, Dress was Changed before all the 4 Aarti's Commenced.
