This is the 3rd temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba on which i'm writing article that I visited during my 18th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple on Thursday, 17th October 2013 at Hosur, Tamilnadu.

After visiting the Sanctum of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Sri Deva Sai Mandir, Tank Street, we headed to yet another temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Gokul Nagar, Hosur.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built at entrance of Gokul Nagar Colony, off. Royakottai Road. It is around 6kms from the National Highway. As the temple is situated in a very interior area & the roads are not properly formed, It is advised to make own transportation or hire an Autoricksaw on to & fro basis.

As the road leading to the temple is very dark with out proper street lighting, it is better to go in a group or avoid late evening visits to the temple.

This is a two floor temple with Dhyan Mandir of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba in the ground floor & the Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba along with Ganesh & Gayathri Devi in the first floor. A 5.5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed in the Main temple Sanctum.

A 3ft Statue of Sri Ganesh & Sri Gayathri have been installed to the right & left side of the statue of Sai Baba. Sai Baba's Paduka has been installed in front of the Main Statue. A Wooden Paduka has also been placed in front of the Statue of Sri Sai Baba.

Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Sri Rama Navami, Guru Poornima & Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi  to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

Highlights of this Temple:

1. This is a two floor temple with Dhyan Mandir of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba in the ground floor & the Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba along with Ganesh & Gayathri Devi in the first floor.

2. A 5.5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed in the Main temple Sanctum.

3. A 3ft Statue of Sri Ganesh & Sri Gayathri have been installed to the right & left side of the statue of Sai Baba. Sai Baba's Paduka has been installed in front of the Main Statue. A Wooden Paduka has also been placed in front of the Statue of Sri Sai Baba.

4. Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Sri Rama Navami, Guru Poornima & Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi  to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

5. Sheerabishekam is performed daily & Rose Water Abhishekam is performed on every thursday & special day to the Marble Statue of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

After the Darshan, we had a Chance to visit the very famous Sri Chandra Choodeswarar Temple, A Shiva temple on a Small Hillock at Hosur Town. After having the darshan of Sri chandra choodeswarar, we completed our 18th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Hosur as it was nearing 8:00pm.

All the temples with in the town limit were visited & a temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at a distance of around 20kms from Hosur was left out due to shortage of time. I hope, i'll get one more chance to visit hosur & also visit this temple of Sri Sai Baba very soon.

After visiting the Sanctum of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Sai Baba Mandir, ASTC Hudco Colony, we headed to yet another temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Tank Road, Hosur.

An Elderly Sai Devotee Couple who were listening to our conversation with the temple staff at ASTC Hudco Colony, enquired about us & offered us to show us the way to the Next temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Tank Street.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built at Tank Road. It is in the Lane Opp. to Surya Hospital. This temple is very near to the Main Business Centre of Hosur. M G Road & Nethaji Road are at a distance of 500mtrs from the temple Premises. It is around 2kms from Railway Station.

The Prana Prathistha Ceremony of Statue of Sri Sai Baba was performed & the temple was inaugurated for the Sai Devotees of Hosur Town on 25th June 2002.

A 3.5ft Marble statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed in the Main temple Sanctum.

A Small Statue of Sri Lakshmi & Saraswathi have been installed in front of the statue of Sai Baba. Sai Baba's Paduka has been installed in front of the Main Statue.

A Beautiful Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba & looks very grand. Sai Baba's White Metal Peetam has been placed in left side of the sanctum of Sri Sai Baba & Baba's Utsav Murthy is placed in the Peetam during Special Days & Puja is Performed.

Sai Baba's Dhuni has been recently installed on 14th Oct 2013 on the Occasion of Sai Punyathithi to the left of the temple sanctum.

Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Sri Rama Navami, Guru Poornima, Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi & during Temple Anniversary held as per the thithi during June to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

On Thursday Evening, Sai Baba's Palki Utsav is performed around the temple premises after the completion of Dhoop Aarti at around 7:45pm. During Guru Pournima, the Palki of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is carried around Important Streets of Hosur town.

A Mini Hall is being Constructed in side the temple Premises. Once it is complete, Plans to Start Social Activities like Health, Eye & Blood Donation Camps & Supporting Poor & Needy Children for Education is under Progress.

After Completing my 17th Pilgrimage of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Visakhapatnam, Bheemunipatnam & East Godavari Dist. in 2 Parts between 18th Jul 2013 - 26th Jul 2013 & 28th Aug 2013 - 02nd Sep 2013, I took some time out from temple visit to take the blessings of Sadguru Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Shirdi. I was also busy with the Ganesh Chauturthi, Dusshera & Diwali Festival.

I got chance to perform some charity activites in between during the Break. After the Dusshera Celebrations ending with Vijaya Dashami & Sai Baba's Punyathithi, I was yet again invited to perform a Puja at a Client's home & also to perform Charity activity at a Near by Govt. School at Hosur.

Hosur, an Industrial Town at the border of Tamilnadu & Karnataka is around 55kms from Bangalore City. Hosur is prominent for its Industries with Industry majors like TVS, Titan, Ashok Leyland & Many other Automotive Industries.

As the Industrial Boom, continued in the last 2 Decade, Lot of Families Migrated to Hosur. Those staying in Bangalore & want to relaxed & peaceful life also started opting to Re locate to hosur. So due to rapid infrastructure development, Lot of Malls, Shops, Amenities Centre, Hospital & even Temple rose around this town.

After Completing the Puja & Charity, I managed some time in the evening to visit the Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples in & around Hosur Town. It was a Thursday, 17th October 2013 when i got a Chance to visit the temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba along with one of my Uncle who also resides at Hosur Town. A 2 Wheeler was provided to me & thus our Pilgrimage to visit some temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Started by around 4:15pm.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built in Dwarakamai Nagar at ASTC Hudco Colony. It is around 3kms from Hosur Railway Station & Bus Stand. One has to go by Own Transportation or hire a Auto Ricksaw on To & Fro basis to visit this temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. It is considered to be 1st & the oldest temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Hosur Town near to the Hudco Colony Township.

The Prana Prathistha Ceremony of Statue of Sri Sai Baba & Maha Kumbabishekam of the Gopuram of the Mandir was performed & the temple was inaugurated for the Sai Devotees of Hosur Town on 1st May 2001.

Initially a 3ft Statue of Sri Sai Baba made up of Cement was installed in the temple premises. Later on the present 5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed & the Cement statue has been placed next to the statue of Sri Sai Baba in the Main temple Sanctum.

A Small Statue of Sri Ganesh, Hanuman, Shiva, Lakshmi & Saraswathi have been installed in front of the statue of Sai Baba. Sai Baba's Paduka has been installed in front of the Main Statue.

A Beautiful Silver Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba & looks magnificient. Sai Baba's Palki has been placed in front of the sanctum of Sri Sai Baba & a Utsav Murthy of Sri Sai Baba has been placed inside the Palki.

Sai Baba's Dhuni along with Dwarakamai has been installed towards the left in front of the Main Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba. Neem Tree with Baba's Gurusthan has been installed beside the Dwarakamai again towards the left of the temple sanctum.

Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Sri Rama Navami, Guru Poornima & Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

On Thursday Evening, Sai Baba's Palki Utsav is performed around the temple premises after the completion of Dhoop Aarti at around 6:45pm. On Completion of the Palki Utsav, Sai Baba's Sai Satcharita Parayan is performed at 7:30pm till the commencement of Shej Aarti.

On Friday evening, Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam & On Satuday evening, Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam is chanted by Sai Devotees at the temple premises at around 5:30 pm before the commencement of Dhoop Aarti.

On every Pournami, Sri Satya Narayana Vratham is performed in the temple Premises.
