New Year 2014 was Celebrated at Tumkur Shirdi - Sri Sai Baba Dwaraka Mandir in a very Grand way.

The Temple Owners & Members associated with the temple decided to make the New Year a very Special event by Distributing 2014 Statue of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba to one & all Sai Baba Devotees visiting the temple on the New Year.

The Temple Premises was very grandly decorated like a Palace with Lighting & Floral Decoration was performed in the Sanctum of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. The First of its kind in the temple, A Fruit Alankar consisting of Apple, Orange, Grapes, Pine Apple was performed by assembling a false roof on top of Sai Baba's Samadhi.

On the Occasion of New Year 2014, The Day Started with Kakad Aarti to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at around 6:00am. Sai Baba was given Sheerabishek followed by Alankar with New Vastra & Pushpa. Morning Aarti & Naivaidhya to Sri Sai Baba was performed in the temple. Morning Naivaithyam consisting of Sambar Rice was served to one & all Sai Devotees visiting the temple to have the Darshan of their Sadguru.

A Special Priest was invited from Shirdi to perform Puja to the Main Statue & the 2014 Statues of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. The temple was opened throughout the Day & Sai Baba's Madhyan Aarti was performed at 12:00 Noon.

2014 Statues of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba were arranged on the Samadhi Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba before the Madhyan Aarti & Aarti & Naivaithya were performed to the Main Statue as well as the 2014 statues of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. Prasad Consisting of Sambar Rice & Curd rice were served to Sai Devotees visiting the temple for the Noon Aarti.

Again in the Evening by 4:00pm, Sai Baba's Dress was again Changed & Puja for 2014 Statues of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was performed. Early Dhoop aarti was performed by 5:00pm to the Main Statue & the 2014 Statues of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

After the Completion of Dhoop Aarti by 5:30pm, the Distrubution of the 2014 Statues of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was commenced.

After the Aarti Ended, Spiritual Bhajan Sandhya was performed in the temple premises & continued late till 8:45pm. Prasad was Distributed to people visiting the temple by then.

At around 9:00pm, Sai Baba's Shej Aarti was performed & the New Year 2014 celebrations came to an end with the completion of Shej Aarti by 9:30pm.

As the Crowd was huge to collect the statue of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, it was a rather tough time to control the crowd in the temple premises. Around 5000 devotees visited the temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba & got the blessings of Sai Baba. All the 2014 Statues of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was successfully distributed with in 2 hrs of its commencement by 6:00pm.

As the Crowd gathered kept on swelling, it was tough time to serve the prasad. Two to three rounds of meals were cooked to feed the crowd of devotees & the temple got closed by 10:30pm after completion of the event.

On the Occasion of New Year 2014, Sai Baba was given Sheerabishek followed by Alankar with New Vastra & Pushpa Alankar. Sai Baba's Ashotthara Shatanamavali, Vishnu Sahasranama Parayan, Aarti & Naivaidhya to Sri Sai Baba was performed in this temple.

New Year 2014 was Celebrated at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir at Amarjyothi Layout for the Second time after it was opened in Feb 2012 in a very Traditional way.

On the Occasion of New Year 2014, Sai Baba was given Sheerabishek followed by Alankar. All the Aarti's were performed as per the timings & the temple was opened for the complete day from 5:30am till 09:00pm.

There was steady flow of devotees visiting the Sai Baba Temple for the Occasion. Different Naivaithya Prasads were fed during different times of the Day to the Sai Devotees visiting the temple.

Happy to Step into the Seventh Year in 2014.

In 2011, we felt the need of Publishing our Own Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Desktop Calender Wallpaper to Benefit Sai Devotees to see & get the blessings of Sri Sai Baba Regularly when opening their Computers/ Laptops.

Though Initially it went on slowly in 2011, It Gradually Improved in 2012 & the Craze to download the Sai Baba Desktop Wallpapers We Started Publishing picked Up & Sky Rocketed in 2013. We were already getting Request to send the Wallpapers even by the End of November 2013 & there were lot of Suggestions & Requests made by Valuable Sai Devotees who are regular Readers of Sai Photo Blog.

Now let us get into the figures of Total Number of times the Wallpapers were Downloaded, in 2011, 2012 & 2013. There was a Total of 10 lakh 90 Thousand [10,90,000+] download of Calender Wallpaper Published in 2011.

This figure Increased Exponentially in 2012 with a Total Average Download of 25 Lakh 98 Thousand [25,98,000+] downloads of Calender Wallpaper Published for the Year 2012 & in 2013 the Total Average Dowaload was 26 Lakh 37 Thousand [ 26,37,000+].

I Now Take this Opportunity to Thank One & All Sai Devotees, Subscribers of Sai Photo Blog & all the Other Blogs i Write, Blog writers who forward my Articles in their Blogs, Face Book Groups & Fan Pages where in the Calender links are Posted. It is by the Grace of Sri Sai Baba that so Many Sai Devotees are downloading these wallpapers & using them as their Wallpaper for Computers.
