East Shiridi - Sri Sai Baba Mandir, East Point Colony, Chinna Waltair, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Aum Sai Ram.

This is the Second Temple on which i'm writing article that I visited during my 17th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Visakhapatnam & Kakinada between 17th July 2013 till 26th July 2013.

This is the 1st temple to be visited at Visakhapatnam & 111th temple on which i'm writing the Article under the Pilgrimage Series for my Sai Photo Blog.

To see Complete List of Temples Visited under Pilgrimage Series Visit:
Raghav's Sai Baba Temple Pilgrimage Series.

After Arriving at Visakhapatnam on 17th July 2013, I took a Days break in meeting Near & Dear & taking complete rest. On Thursday, 18th July 2013, After an early morning Bath, I along with my Host, My Eldest Sister & Brother in Law decided to visit a temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba to start the day fresh & get his blessings.

It was decided that we visit the Sampath Vinayagar temple near to RTC complex first. Get his blessings & then start this 17th Pilgrimage to visit Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples.

Sampath Vinayagar temple, though a very small temple on the Busy Road Side, It was totally crowded as the Abhishek Puja was going on during the time of our visit at around 7:15am.

After getting the blessings of Elephant God & getting a Nod & Positive gesture from Ganeshji Maharaj we headed towards the Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir.

This is the first time that my Brother in Law is personally accompanying me that too visiting the 1st temple of my Pilgrimage series with me. Though a Busy Man, he took time to take me & my sister around to Sai Baba Temple. So my Sister decided to take me to one of the biggest, famous & oldest Sai Baba temples in Visakhapatnam.

As we travelled through the main roads, we reached the Chinna waltair Area & headed straight towards East Point Colony where the famous temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built.

This temple as been famously called as East Shirdi - Sri Sai Baba Mandir. The Prana Prathistha of the Main Statue of Sri Sai Baba was performed on 18th March 1993.

The Main Temple complex has been built into a two floor building with the Main Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba installed at the 1st floor of the temple Complex. The Ground floor of the Main Temple complex houses the Sanctums of Sri Ganeshji, Shiva, Santoshi Matha, Sri Subramanya Swamy, Sri Rama, Lakshmana, Seetha & Hanuman, Sri Swamy Ayyappa & Sri Dattatreya.

A 5.5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed on the 1st floor of the temple & the Sanctum is completely Air Conditioned. The ceiling the the side walls are decorated with Glass Work & various pictures of Sai Baba are designed on the Glass around the side walls & on the ceilings.

A Silver Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba. 2 Pancha Loha Statues of Sri Sai Baba along with Silver Simhasan has also been placed in front of the Main Marble Statue.

A Silver Turtle idol has also been installed in front of Sri Sai Baba representing kurma Avatar.

As it was a Thursday, Special Alankar has performed after the morning Aarti & Abhishek Ceremony. Gold & Silver Jewellery was used to Decorate Sai Baba.

Special Bhog consisting of various Sweets & Special Big Laddu were placed in front of Sri Sai Baba for the Maha Naivaithyam.

Sai Baba's Gurustan along with Neem Tree & Dwarakamai with Dhuni can also been seen inside the temple Premises.

After the Abhishek, Alankar, Sai Baba Puja was performed & Sai Baba's Ashtothara Shatanamavali was performed. Bhog consisting of Sweets, Fruits, Food Articles were placed & Naivaitham to Sri Sai Baba was performed.

Maha Mangal Aarti was performed & after the completion of the Mangal Aarti, Devotees were allowed to tough the Paduka of Sri Sai Baba.

After the Darshan we got the Aarti & Panchamruth Prasad. Then visited all the sanctums in the temple premises on the ground floor. We were served Pongal as Morning Naivaithyam.

As the Guru Pournima was on 22nd July 2013, Special Alankar was been performed around the Complete Temple Premises. Nithya Homam & Special Puja's were being performed during that week.

Athi Rudra Maha Yagam was performed on the 22nd July 2013 at the temple Premises to commemorate during Guru Pournima Festival.

World's Largest 116ft Shirdi Sai Baba Statue at Sri Sai Baba Mandir, Repur, Kakinada. East Godavari Dist.

Aum Sai Ram.

This is the First Temple on which i'm writing article that I visited during my 17th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Visakhapatnam & Kakinada between 17th July 2013 till 26th July 2013.

To see Complete List of Temples Visited under Pilgrimage Series Visit:
Raghav's Sai Baba Temple Pilgrimage Series.

Though this was the last & only temple to be visited in Kakinada Town, i felt that i have to write article about this temple first & later on write articles on the Other temples visited by me at Visakhapatnam City between 17th July 2013 till 24th July 2013.

I've visited this temple thrice in the last 17 months & I'm sharing the snaps of all the 3 visits to help Sai Devotees understand how this Magnificient Statue of Sri Sai Baba was Constructed & Painted.

A 116 ft Cement Statue of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was unveiled on the 1st Jan 2012. It took 11 years to construct this cement statue at a Cost of around 2.5 Crores with a life time guarantee of around 500 Years. Sai Baba is sitting on the Cement Stone which is 4 florey High.

A Cellar has been constructed below the foot of Sai Baba & the temple authorities are planning to fill it with 1000 crores of Sai Nama Japam sheets in the coming future.

It is Sri Ammula Samba Siva Rao's inspiration that is behind the construction of this 100 feet Sai Baba's Statue. Sai Devotees around this place have donated the land to Sai. We feel Sai's presence around the place. A Marble statue of Baba is installed by Guruji Sri Ammula Samba Siva Rao. Lendibagh with trees & plants have been maintained in the temple premises.

Behind the Sai Baba temple, work for the construction of 116 feet statue of Sai Baba commenced during 2000's. The left leg of Sai Baba is 18 feet high & sits on the Base which is three floor High.

The left leg of Baba that is the stupa is filled with Sai's Nama Japam books. We can see different Statues of Sai Baba around the Temple premises. A Statue of Sai Baba in dancing posture can also be found on the Dwaja Stambam in the temple premises.

It's a boon to the people of Kakinada & East Godavari Dist & it will soon be a historical place with High Importance for the devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba.

Baba's Face can been seen even from a distance of 5kms from a 5 florey Apartment or Mall Building during Day time.
