The organization was started with SAI's blessings and grace. It was around Jan 2007, that thoughts had arised in Sri Rajagopal Panditji's mind (may be it was Baba who had inspired (within him), that a temple for Shridi Sai should be built in Richmond, VA. Pandit Sri B Rajagopalji was a frequent visitor to various places within US including Richmond, VA to conduct yantra pujas and help in invoking spiritual values and prayer services for devotees in overcoming their day-to-day stress and tide different crisis. Pandit Sri B Rajagopalji had slowly built up a group of ardent devotees and volunteers that had varied interests in spirituality.

Despite various hardships for many of the volunteer families in the year 2007, everyone was supportive of the idea to build Shridi Sai Temple in Richmond, VA. Though everyone of the volunteer/devotee felt it was a momentous task, it was everyone's faith, that as Baba had inspired the thoughts to build a temple, he would continue to guide us in this spiritual journey and jumped the bandwagon with Mama, as Pandit Sri Rajagopalji is affectionately called. Various sites around Richmond, VA was inspected, and finally the current one in Manakin Sabot, VA was chosen by Baba to be his future home in Richmond. Sponsors came in from all directions to provide repayable loans, donations towards the closing of the 5.7 acres land near the west end of Richmond. The closing of the land was completed in the last week of May 2007 while efforts already started to hold the first yagnam in July 2007, under the able guidance of our beloved and lovable, Poojya Sri V V Sridhar Guruji.

Sri Shirdi Sai Sansthan, Ramnagar Gunda, Vidyanagar, Hyderabad

Aum Sai Ram.

Sri Shirdi Sai Sansthan at Ramnagar Gunda, Vidya nagar, Hyderabad was the 4th temple visited by us on Monday, 03rd August 2010.

The 3 temples visited earlier were

Sai Sansthan, Ramnagar Gunda, Vidyanagar, Hyderabad

After our visit to Bagh Amberpet Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan, we planned to end this program for the day & go home for lunch. But deep in my mind, i was not satisfied with visit to just 3 temples. We had previously planned to stay back in this temple, see the Madhyan Aarti & then go home. Even the Security personal at the entrance asked as if we could wait for 10 minutes as the Madhyan Aarti was about to commence.

But by that time, i had decided to visit one more temple for the day & then go home for lunch. My Host, the Family Friend who accompanied me to all the Sai Temples this day had arranged for my Lunch at her & her mom was eagerly waiting for us & even called us twice in between to know our status. She was worried that the lunch cooked by her will not be hot if come late to home.

But Baba had some other plan for us. Honestly It was Baba who made me go nuts in going to one more temple. After wearing the footwear, me & my friend boarded an Auto ricksaw, we crossed the road, then i opened my map. There were 2 to 3 temples in the radius of 3-4 kms. But the Auto Driver whom Baba sent us to bring to this temple, suggested that this temple at Ram Nagar Gunda will be nearly & we can reach in Less than 10 minutes.

We were absolutely fine with the plan, as we needed to go in time for the 12:00pm Madhyan aarti. We got down the Ricksaw at the entrance of the colony where the temple was located. This temple was a 2 min walk from the entrance of the Arch. We walked down the Narrow Lanes of the Colony & we could see a relatively small temple of Shirdi Sai Baba there.

The Main Temple/Garba Gudi where the statue is placed was closed with a curtain & lot of people were waiting there for his darshan. I asked a Man sitting there who was incharge of the Coconuts & other stuff sold in the temple premises for the puja as to why are all the people sitting here & why is the curtain closed?

I got a very Amazing answer. He told me that the Big Marble Statue of Shirdi Sai Baba had been installed before some time & that it was the final day of Mandal Pooja. So there was a Special Puja, Abhishek, Aarti at the temple.

Mean while i met the Founder & Vice President of the Temple Sri. K Krishna Yadav & he was more than willing to tell me about the history of the temple & also told me about the Mandal Puja & other things what were taking place on that particular day.

The Temple was opened to Sai Devotees on June 17th 1997 with a Small Marble Statue of Sai Baba. There were regular Abhishek, Aarti & Puja for the Small statue. But before some months it was found that the small statue of Shirdi Sai Baba had got damaged & the Trust decided to re install a New Big Marble statue of Shirdi Sai Baba & also renovate the temple during this time.

A New Marble statue of Shirdi Sai Baba was installed on Thursday, 24th June 2010. A Small Statue of Sri Ganesh & Dattatreya were also installed in front of Baba's Statue. First floor was newly constructed & directly above the Baba's statue, Another Marble statue of Sai Baba was installed on the first floor. It was made into Dwarakamai. A Palki of Sai Baba is also placed here. It is relatively Calm & quite in the Dwarakamai located in the first floor.

A Dhuni/Fire Place has been installed left side to the Main Entrance of the Sai Mandir. Our wait to see Sai Baba in this temple finally ended when the curtain was moved & we could get the first glimpse of Shirdi Sai Baba. He was in all red. Red Dress, Red Pagdi/Crown. The Jasmine Garland was looking very elegant on him. Baba was simple at his best & our wait to see him was fruitful & we got his blessing.

We attended the Sai Ashtothara Shatanamavali & Madhyan Aarti. After the Aarti, we were happy to know that Sai had arranged for a Special Lunch for us. As it was the final Day of the Mandal Puja, Food was served by the temple Authorities.

As my friend had to rush back to home, we decided to carry the prasad to home instead of consuming it there.

This way we end our program by visiting 4 temples of shirdi Sai Baba. Later in the evening we visited Dilsukh nagar Sai Baba Temple & attended the Dhoop Aarti. But we were not allowed to take the Snaps. The Manager of that temple promised to send us the snaps but till now i have not received the same.

On the Whole my trip to Hyderbad between 02nd - 04th was very fruitful. I was able to visit 9 Temples of Shirdi Saibaba & Take snaps at 7 temples that i have posted on Thursdays & Sundays regularly.

Shirdi Sai Baba Photo Frame in KSRTC "AIRAVAT" Volvo Bus.

Aum Sai Ram

On 29th Aug 2010, I had to travel From Bangalore to Coimbatore for a Family Emergency. As i got to know about the emergency situation only in the morning, i could not get the trains tickets booked. So finally decided to Book Tickets through KSRTC "AIRAVAT" Volvo Service.

I have travelled many times by Volvo bus but this trip was quite different. I was mentally stressed out & was in no mood to travel. I was literally pushed to travel due to the emergency. I had Prayed Baba to Accompany me through out the journey before leaving home.

My Bus was scheduled to start at 10:45pm. I reached well in time by 10:00pm to avoid the last minute tension due to the Traffic chaos in Bangalore City. As soon as i entered the platform, i saw the bus & decided to board, so that i could rest for a while. I got my tickets checked & entered the Bus. To My surprise Baba had indeed fulfilled his promise of Accompanying me through out the Bus Journey.

I Saw a Laminated Photo Frame of Shirdi Sai Baba with a Beautiful Jasmine Garland above the Driver's Seat inside the Bus. Baba was smiling at me & welcomed me as usual. This Laminated Photo was Released to the Sai Devotees on the Guru Poornima Day in 2009.

The Bus Driver was a Real Gem & was driving the Bus with at most caution. He rearly applied any sudden breaks & was doing a decent speed of 95 - 100Km/hr. I reached Coimbatore by 5:30am. As the Bus entered the Coimbatore City Limits, Venkateshwara Suprabatham was Played in the Bus & thus all the Passengers were woken up to get down at the Bus stop after 20 Minutes or so.

Here is a set of Snaps taken during the Break at a Hotel near Krishnagiri, Tamilnadu. The quality of Images are not so good as it was taken with the help of Cellphone Camera.

All these days i was wondering if i should share the snaps with all Sai Devotees are not as it was not so clear. But yes it is Our Baba & where it is 100% clear pic or not, he has to be Shared with one & all. So I'm Sharing this Set of Snaps.

Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan, Bagh Amberpet, Hyderabad.

Aum Sai Ram

Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan, Bagh Amberpet, Hyderabad was the third temple we visited on 03rd Aug 2010. As told earlier,

Kindly see the Complete set of 28 Snaps of this temple
before reading the Description of this Temple.
Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan, Bagh Amberpet, Hyderabad.

After our visit at Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, Bagh Lingampally we headed towards Shivam road & we reached this temple at Bagh Amberpet. This temple is near to the famous Satya Sai Ashram on Shivam Road. The other Famous temples around this area are Ahobilam Narasimha Temple, Ayyappan Temple, Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple, Shiva Temple.

On reaching this temple, we could see a wash area near to entrance to wash the feet & then enter the temple. This was not visible in the first two temples that we visited today.

This temple is a two storeyed building with the Baba's Samadhi Mandir in the ground floor & Meditation Hall in the First floor. From the Entrance this temple is looking like some Sansthan with Tight Security. A Security guard with Metal Detector was standing to welcome us. upon seeing him, i felt as if i'm standing in the airport security check. He was pleasent & kind hearted. He did his duty with out troubling much. As i was taking a Camera, I needed to take Special Permission from the Manager of the Temple to photo graph & to be honest, it took some time to convience them about the purpose of visit, taking of snaps etc.

Once we were cleared, we were allowed inside the temple premises with our travel kit which contained a Digital Camera.

At the entrance of the temple, apart from the security personal with the metal detector, there is a booth with a metal detector & some other fance gadgets. we need to go through it also.

On reaching the Temple hall, Sai Samadhi Mandir is towards the right hand side at a Distance. Towards the front there is Dwarakamai.

Dwarakamai has been well designed with dhuni on one side & Sai Baba sitting on the other side in an Air Conditioned Room Glass Room. We can see a Jute bag Containing Wheat, a Wooden Almarah filled with Dresses for Sai Baba. A Silver Bowl containing water. Silver Paduka is also visible in front of Sai Baba at Dwarakamai. Sai Satcharita Book has been kept in front of Sai Baba's Statue inside the Dwarakamai.

A Orange Colour Flag representing Hindus & a Green Colour Flag representing Muslims has been hung in the Dwarakamai.

Just opposite to Dwarakamai there is a very small marble statue of Abhaya Anjaneya. As Hanumanji is widedly worshipped in this part, His statue is also placed inside the Hall.

A Little further, there is a Statue of Dattatreya, Chavadi of Shirdi Sai Baba, A Palki for Baba to go on Utsav.

The Marble statue of Sai Baba in the Samadhi Mandir is very matured & is ever smiling at his devotees. I was able to get the blessing of him by touching his feet. As i got the second opportunity today to touch him again, i utilised this opportunity given by him & massaged his feet, legs, ankles.

Then I bow on his feet & took his blessing. Touched his Hands & asked him to be with me as always & take care of Me & every one around in this World.

Baba is sitting on a wonderful Silver throne with a Silver Crown. Blue velvet cusion on the throne is looking really good & baba is able to sit & give darshan to his devotees peacefully. Though it is a Samadhi Mandir, Samadhi is not visible in front of Sai Baba's Statue.

A Chavadi Procession Potrait of Shirdi Sai Baba has been well designed with China Clay on one of the Walls in the Temple Premises. This Work on Chavadi Procession has been down Next to the Manager's table in the temple.

This temple is totally peaceful & follows all the rituals followed by Shirdi Sai Sansthan, Shirdi.

The temple opens at 6am for the Kakad Aarti followed by Mangal Snan. After noon's Madhyan Aarti commences at 12:00 Noon. evening there is a Dhoop aarti at 6:00pm followed by Shej Aarti at 8:30pm.

On the first floor there is a Meditation hall to meditate on Sai Baba. A Big Statue of Ganeshji is on the corridor & welcomes all those who go towards the Meditation hall.

The Sansthan feeds the Poor & at 7:30am every morning they feed the poor & needy. They have also put a Notice, requesting the Sai Devotees to do the Needful in this regard.

In total the Mental experience in this temple was very soothing. Baba was ever smiling & giving darshan to all this devotees. I got blessed by him & even got the Sheera Prasad from the purohit.

After visiting this temple, we headed to Sai Baba Mandir at Ramnagar Gundu, Vidyanagar. More on this temple in the coming Article.
