Sri Sai Sansthan - Shirdi Sai Mandir, Chaderghat, Hyderabad
On 03rd Aug 2010, i started early in the morning by 7:10am. One of my Family Friend had promised to accompany me to the Sai Temples in Hyderabad. As she is from Hyderabad, she knows lot of Sai temples around there.
As planned i met her at Koti Bus Stop. From Koti bus stop we headed towards this Sai Mandir at Chaderghat. Though the temple is less than 300Mtrs from the bus stop & around 5 minutes by walk, we opted to go there by Auto Ricksaw as we had to visit lot of places later on that day.
Within 2 minutes we reached this temple. It is a very beautiful temple on a busy Main Road. We had to spend almost 5 minutes to cross the road & go inside the temple due to the peak hour traffic.
Once upon entering the temple, it was peace & complete peace. it was very silent. The temple complex was huge. Upon entering we can see the Dwarakamai directly. On the Right Hand side Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir is visible. The Samadhi Mandir is quite big in such a Busy Area & can seat upto 750 people for the Aarti & other ceremony.
There is a Palki, a Utsav Murthy of Sai Baba near to Samadhi Mandir. Behind the Sai Baba Mandir, there is a beautiful Gurusthan with a huge Neem Tree.
There is a Small temple for Ganeshji, Dattatreya, Shiva & Gayathri Devi.
As the temple is Maintained by North Indians, all the Rituals & Ceremony are done according to North Indian Style.
Temple Opens at 6:00am & Darshan ends for the Day by 9:00pm after the Shej Aarti. On Thursdays & Specials days there is a lot of Crowd & Special Puja is Organised. As the temple has been there for a long time, the Statue of Sai Baba looks very Matured & Majestic. I felt a real Peace of Mind seeing him.
After the Darshan we headed to Bhag Lingampalli Sai Mandir. More on Bhag Lingampalli Sai Mandir in Next Article.
