On 07th October 2010, Mahalaya Amavasya was celebrated at Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir, Jayanagar(E), Tumkur. Mahalaya Amavasya marks the commencement of Navarathri/Dussera festival & on the End of the 10 days/Vijaya Dasami it is Baba's Samadhi Day.
Special Abhishekam, Alankaram, Ashthothara Shatanamavali, Bhajans, Palki Utsav & Aarti were Conducted at the Temple Premises. At the End of Shej Aarti, Prasadam was distributed to Sai Devotees.
From 08th October, Navaratri Commences & there is going to be special Alankaram & Seva on All the Days during Dussera.
