New Year 2011 Celebrations at Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, Jayanagar(E), Tumkur. Karnataka.

Aum Sai Ram.

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Jayanagar(E), Tumkur celebrated New Year Eve in a spiritual way. Sai Baba was dressed in Blue Velvet attire & wearing a Pagdi to Mark the event. Bhajan sandhya commenced by around 10:30 pm & the temple bhajan troop was very actively participating in the event.

Exactly at 12:00am 01st Jan 2011, all the lights of the temple was stitched off & the curtain was opened for the first time for the evening & Sai Devotees were lucky enough to get the first glimpse of Sai Baba with the Diya's Lit around him. Baba was all glittering in the oil lamps lit around him. After a 2 min meditation in complete darkness all the lights were switched on Again. By that time some Crackers were burnt in the temple premises by the junior wing of the temple.

Later on Shej Aarti was sung by all the Sai Devotees. A 10 Kg cake was cut to mark the event & later on Distributed among all Sai Devotees present for the New Year Celebration. This is the First time, i'm participating in one such Spiritual New Year Event & i felt Joy & happiness. I sure had Peace of Mind & I hope that this year goes on fine for All the Sai Devotees.
