Sri Shirdi Sai Mandira, Kamakshipalya 2nd Stage, Bangalore.

Aum Sai Ram

I successfully completed my 6th Pilgrimage to Sai Temples on 26th May 2011. This is the 2nd temple visited by me during my sixth Pilgrimage to Sai Baba Temples.

My Day Started with a visit to

As i had to attend the 9th Guruwar Sai Vrath Puja at my Friend's Home in Bangalore, I was able to visit only 2 Shirdi Sai Baba Temples during my 6th Pilgrimage at Bangalore.

This temple of Shirdi Sai Baba is under renovation. This temple was inaugrated way back in 1999. A 6 feet Marble Moorthi was brought from Jaipur & installed in the year 1999.

This is the Only Sai Baba Temple in Bangalore that Allows Sai Devotees to Touch the main idol of Saibaba and Worship on their own.

As I visited this temple on Thursday morning between 7:15am - 8:15am, I was lucky enough to participate in the Sheerabishekam Ceremony being performed at the temple premises. I was allowed to perform abhishekam by my own. I felt so happy & this is the 3rd time i'm able to perform Sheerabisham to Life Size Marble Statue of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

Sai Devotees regularly visiting this temple had brought Milk, Garland, Biscuits & Doodh Peda. Abhishekam which commenced at around 7:30am kept continued till around 8:15am & almost all the Sai Devotees present in the temple premises were allowed to perform the Abhishekam to Shirdi Sai Baba.

A Small Black Stone Idol along with a Panchaloha Idol of Shirdi Sai Baba has been placed in front of the Marble Statue of Shirdi Sai Baba. Baba's Samadhi was covered with a Shawl & Flowers were spread over the Samadhi. A Panchaloha Idol of Ganeshji is also present in front of Sai Baba. A Sanctum for Hanuman is present behind Baba's Sanctum.

Dwarakamai with Dhuni has been installed behind the Sai Baba's Sanctum. A Stand has been placed near to Dhuni where Sai Devotees can light a Candle & pray to Sai Baba.

Previously there used to be an Ashram run by Guruji Sri Ram Prasad at this place & the Idol of Sai Baba was installed here. Now the Ashram has been shifted & a Temple is at present under Construction around the Installed Sanctum of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

Sai Devotees in Bangalore wishing to perform Sheerabhishekam to Life Size Marble Statue of Sai Baba can visit this temple on Thursday's between 6:15am - 7:45am to perform abhishekam.
