I would also like to mention our Sai Photo Blog Team member & Sai Devotee Mrs. Padma Karunakaram from Andhra Pradesh for Introducing Sri Mohan Rao to me & also helping me in procuring the Photo & other Contents with regards to this temple. Mrs. Padma has covered around 500 Sai Baba Temples in & around East & West Godavari Dists & her articles on Sai Baba Temple are being published in our blog on wednesdays.

The Main reason to build this temple started way back in 2007. From 30.12.2007 udi was seen falling from the top of sai Baba Statue. The people who meditated in this place started getting their wishes fullfilled. So the work to build a Sai Baba Temple commenced by the blessing of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba later in 2008. This village is around 3kms distance from Kaikalur in West Godavari Dist of Andhra Pradesh.

On 23rd April 2011, the Ceremony began with Gho Puja( Cow Puja). Then the Statues of Sai Baba, Vinayaka, Dattatreya, Ayyappa, Saraswati were brought to the temple site after performing a procession around the village of Bhairavapatnam on a Tractor.

Homam was performed on all the 5 Days on all the 108 Homa Kunda that was designed for this ceremony.

On 24th April, Baba's Statue was given a complete Abhishekam with Water, Milk, Kumkum Water, Turmeric Water, Fruits, Honey, Ghee & was finally completed by performing the Deeparadhana.

on 25th & 26th April various homa's were performed & all the Statues were given abhishekam by Sai Devotees. Kalasha Puja was also performed during this time.

On the 27th of April 2011, Sai Baba's Vigraha Prathistha was performed along with Kalasha Stapana at the Sri Sai Baba Dhyanamandiram, Bhairavapatnam.

A Pure Marble Statue of Sai Baba of around 5.3ft weighing around 2500kgs(2.5 Tonnes) was installed in the Temple premises following the the Rituals.

A Set of Priest connected with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthan Trust, Tirumala performed all the puja Rituals on all the 5 Days of the ceremony. A Total of 250kgs of Ghee & 1 Tonn of fire wood & other puja Articles were utilised during this 5 day Period.

All the Rituals were performed as per the Agama Shasthra & a total of around 15,000 Sai Devotees participated during the event.

Sai Baba's Prasadam was served on all the Days to the Devotees present for the ceremony. The Whole village was decorated with lights & Banners & it looked as it the entire village was present on all the days of the event.

Special Satsang, Bhajan Programs by Children & Ladies & other Cultural Programs were performed during the evenings on all the 5 Days. Various eniment personalities & Guruji from the near by ashram/peetam attended the ceremony & also gave satsangs on various topics regarding hinduism & culture.

From 28th April till 5th of June 2011. Akhanda Sai Nama Japam is being performed for the welfare of one & all.

on 6th June 2011, the temple will be preforming the mandala puja & Sai Devotees in the near by cities & towns can participate in the event, get blessings of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba & make it a grand Success.
