Aum Sai Ram

This is my 13th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Rajahmundry & Surrounding Towns/ Villages in East & West Godavari Dists of Andhra Pradesh.

Temples Visited During my 12th Pilgrimage at Arsikere & Tiptur:
Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandira, Sainatha Road, Arsikere, Hassan Dist.

As i was busy with my personal Work, I could not concentrate much or visit temples of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba in between. Thank you Blog Readers & Subscribers for waiting patiently & allowing me to complete my work & Solve my Issues. From now onwards you will be receiving Regular Articles on Pilgrimage series performed by me.

I performed this Journey between 13th March - 22nd March 2012 covering a total of 36 Small, Medium, Very Big & Famous temples of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba in & around Rajahmundry.

Sai Baba Temples are very famous in Andhra Pradesh & Every Locality/ Street has one temple like Ganeshji temple in Rest of India. Visiting all temples was not possible even though i stayed for around 9 Days. Hope to have missed few temples which will be covering soon.

I would Like to take this Opportunity to thank my Host for the Trip Mrs & Mr. Balakrishna & Family, Rajahmundry who accommodated me for a period of 10 days & Provided me with Transportation to visit Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples in & Around Rajahmundry. I should also appreciate Mrs. Padma Balakrishna's Patience in gathering the Address & required Info before hand & travelling with me to some of the Sai Baba Temples. I would also like to thank Mr. Pavan, An Engineering Student who took a break from his busy schedule & took me to some Sai Baba temples in villages around Rajahmundry.

Sai Devotees can go through links placed in the Right Side Bar to view the list of all temples visited by me under the Pilgrimage series.

Now I Start the Actual description of the temple visited by me. I arrived at Rajahmundry Town from Bangalore on 14th March 2012 After traveling for 21hrs covering a distance of 1000kms by Train at 7:45am. After Refreshing, I had some homemade Idli for Breakfast & Started for the temple visit by 10am.

I along with Mrs. Padma Balakrishna planned to visit Sri Sai Baba temples in the surrounding villages & towns first & decided to cover the temples at Kovvur in West Godavari Dist of Andhra Pradesh.

Kovvur is at a distance of around 5kms from Rajahmundry & after crossing the River Godavari via Rail cum Road Bridge we reach Kovvur Village. This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is at the right side once we cross the bridge & go towards Kovvur.
