Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Charitable Trust, Alampur, Pentapadu Mandal, W G Dist. Andhra Pradesh.

Aum Sai Ram.

This is the 8th Temple visited by me during my 13th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Rajahmundry on Tuesday, 20th Mar 2012.

Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Charitable Trust Temple at Alampur Village in Pentapadu Mandal of West Godavari Dist is a very Beautiful & Nicely Built temple of Sri Sai Baba.

Alampur is at a Distance of around 40kms from Rajahmundry & 18kms from Nidadavolu Town. While traveling towards Tadepalligudam from Nidadavolu, we need to take a left turn at Pratipadu which is around 16kms from Nidadavolu & should move 2kms ahead to reach Alampur. This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built next to the Sir. Cotton's Fresh Water Pond in Alampur Village. This Village is also Directly accessible from NH 5 Road from Eluru to Rajahmundry.

The Village Elders planned to Build a Temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at a Cost of around 10 - 15 lakhs & discussed the same with the villagers. A Plan was put forward to Build the temple on the Govt property of their Village.

The Present Temple Property used to be a Goshala/ Cow Shed before the Commencement of the Temple Work & a Muslim Burial Ground before 100yrs till it was discorded & later on Acquired by the Govt after the Independence.

As Planned the Foundation Stone of this temple was Laid on 08th Mar 2004. It took Exactly 2 Years to complete the construction of this temple & a Registered Trust was in charge of the Construction Work of the Temple.

On 6th Mar 2006 the temple for Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was Inaugurated. From the Beginning onwards there has been yearly development of this temple.
