After Completing my 17th Pilgrimage of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Visakhapatnam, Bheemunipatnam & East Godavari Dist. in 2 Parts between 18th Jul 2013 - 26th Jul 2013 & 28th Aug 2013 - 02nd Sep 2013, I took some time out from temple visit to take the blessings of Sadguru Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Shirdi. I was also busy with the Ganesh Chauturthi, Dusshera & Diwali Festival.

I got chance to perform some charity activites in between during the Break. After the Dusshera Celebrations ending with Vijaya Dashami & Sai Baba's Punyathithi, I was yet again invited to perform a Puja at a Client's home & also to perform Charity activity at a Near by Govt. School at Hosur.

Hosur, an Industrial Town at the border of Tamilnadu & Karnataka is around 55kms from Bangalore City. Hosur is prominent for its Industries with Industry majors like TVS, Titan, Ashok Leyland & Many other Automotive Industries.

As the Industrial Boom, continued in the last 2 Decade, Lot of Families Migrated to Hosur. Those staying in Bangalore & want to relaxed & peaceful life also started opting to Re locate to hosur. So due to rapid infrastructure development, Lot of Malls, Shops, Amenities Centre, Hospital & even Temple rose around this town.

After Completing the Puja & Charity, I managed some time in the evening to visit the Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples in & around Hosur Town. It was a Thursday, 17th October 2013 when i got a Chance to visit the temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba along with one of my Uncle who also resides at Hosur Town. A 2 Wheeler was provided to me & thus our Pilgrimage to visit some temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Started by around 4:15pm.

This is the 1st temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba on which i'm writing article that I visited during my 18th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple on Thursday, 17th October 2013 at Hosur, Tamilnadu.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built in Dwarakamai Nagar at ASTC Hudco Colony. It is around 3kms from Hosur Railway Station & Bus Stand. One has to go by Own Transportation or hire a Auto Ricksaw on To & Fro basis to visit this temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. It is considered to be 1st & the oldest temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Hosur Town near to the Hudco Colony Township.

The Prana Prathistha Ceremony of Statue of Sri Sai Baba & Maha Kumbabishekam of the Gopuram of the Mandir was performed & the temple was inaugurated for the Sai Devotees of Hosur Town on 1st May 2001.

Initially a 3ft Statue of Sri Sai Baba made up of Cement was installed in the temple premises. Later on the present 5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed & the Cement statue has been placed next to the statue of Sri Sai Baba in the Main temple Sanctum.

A Small Statue of Sri Ganesh, Hanuman, Shiva, Lakshmi & Saraswathi have been installed in front of the statue of Sai Baba. Sai Baba's Paduka has been installed in front of the Main Statue.

A Beautiful Silver Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba & looks magnificient. Sai Baba's Palki has been placed in front of the sanctum of Sri Sai Baba & a Utsav Murthy of Sri Sai Baba has been placed inside the Palki.

Sai Baba's Dhuni along with Dwarakamai has been installed towards the left in front of the Main Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba. Neem Tree with Baba's Gurusthan has been installed beside the Dwarakamai again towards the left of the temple sanctum.

Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Sri Rama Navami, Guru Poornima & Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

On Thursday Evening, Sai Baba's Palki Utsav is performed around the temple premises after the completion of Dhoop Aarti at around 6:45pm. On Completion of the Palki Utsav, Sai Baba's Sai Satcharita Parayan is performed at 7:30pm till the commencement of Shej Aarti.

On Friday evening, Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam & On Satuday evening, Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam is chanted by Sai Devotees at the temple premises at around 5:30 pm before the commencement of Dhoop Aarti.

On every Pournami, Sri Satya Narayana Vratham is performed in the temple Premises.

Highlights of this Temple:

After the Darshan, we headed towards Sri Deva Sai Mandir at Tank Street, near to the city centre in Hosur Town to visit the 3.5ft Beautifully Decorated Statue of Sri Sai Baba. More on the same in the Next Article.
