Sri Deva Sai Temple, Tank Street, Opp. Surya Hospital, Hosur. Tamilnadu.

This is the 2nd temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba on which i'm writing article that I visited during my 18th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple on Thursday, 17th October 2013 at Hosur, Tamilnadu.

After visiting the Sanctum of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Sai Baba Mandir, ASTC Hudco Colony, we headed to yet another temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Tank Road, Hosur.

An Elderly Sai Devotee Couple who were listening to our conversation with the temple staff at ASTC Hudco Colony, enquired about us & offered us to show us the way to the Next temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Tank Street.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built at Tank Road. It is in the Lane Opp. to Surya Hospital. This temple is very near to the Main Business Centre of Hosur. M G Road & Nethaji Road are at a distance of 500mtrs from the temple Premises. It is around 2kms from Railway Station.

The Prana Prathistha Ceremony of Statue of Sri Sai Baba was performed & the temple was inaugurated for the Sai Devotees of Hosur Town on 25th June 2002.

A 3.5ft Marble statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed in the Main temple Sanctum.

A Small Statue of Sri Lakshmi & Saraswathi have been installed in front of the statue of Sai Baba. Sai Baba's Paduka has been installed in front of the Main Statue.

A Beautiful Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba & looks very grand. Sai Baba's White Metal Peetam has been placed in left side of the sanctum of Sri Sai Baba & Baba's Utsav Murthy is placed in the Peetam during Special Days & Puja is Performed.

Sai Baba's Dhuni has been recently installed on 14th Oct 2013 on the Occasion of Sai Punyathithi to the left of the temple sanctum.

Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Sri Rama Navami, Guru Poornima, Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi & during Temple Anniversary held as per the thithi during June to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

On Thursday Evening, Sai Baba's Palki Utsav is performed around the temple premises after the completion of Dhoop Aarti at around 7:45pm. During Guru Pournima, the Palki of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is carried around Important Streets of Hosur town.

A Mini Hall is being Constructed in side the temple Premises. Once it is complete, Plans to Start Social Activities like Health, Eye & Blood Donation Camps & Supporting Poor & Needy Children for Education is under Progress.

8. Sheerabishekam is performed daily & Rose Water Abhishekam is performed on every thursday & special day to the Marble Statue of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

After the Darshan, we headed towards Sri Sai Baba Mandir at Gokul Nagar, Off. Royakottai Road to visit the 5.5ft Beautifully Decorated Statue of Sri Sai Baba. More on the same in the Next Article.
