On Sunday, 27th June 2010 as planned i went on a Pilgrimage to visit 4 Shirdi Sai Temples in Bangalore Rural Dist. My Day started with a Visit to
Shri Shirdi ke Sai Baba Mandir. Devanahalli, Bangalore Rural.
After visitng Sai Baba, i was eager to know more about the temple. Purohit of the temple was kind enough to give me the complete details of the temple. Boomi pooja of Shirdi Sai Mandir was performed on Thursday, 13th Feb 1992. The temple was inaugurated in 2001. Dwarakamai was inaugurated on Wednesday, 11th May 2005.Shri Shirdi ke Sai Baba Mandir. Devanahalli, Bangalore Rural.
I started from Devanahalli but due to some confusions with the road directions, Instead of visiting Sri Sainatha Jnana Kendra,Bhattrena Halli, Vijayapura i ended up visiting this temple.
By the time i sort out the road direction & come to this temple, it was 10:30am. When coming by Bangalore to Chennai NH4 Road, we need to take left at Budigere cross & travel 11kms to reach Budigere Village.
Another easy to remember land mark is to take deviation towards left at the Bangalore International Airport Ring road after crossing K R Puram. To reach airport we need to cross Budigere.
As i had already visited Devanahalli & was coming in the opposite direction, due to certain confusion, i took a wrong route instead of taking a right turn at the junction. When travelling from Devanahalli take a road going towards hosakote. after crossing devanahalli town limit, there is a big indication to take right to go to K R Puram, White field etc. Just go in that ring road & you will end up going via Budigere. See the map to Understand Better.

After getting Darshan at Budigere Sai Mandir, I planned to visit Hoskote Sai Mandir. But the Priest was so particular in suggesting me to visit a Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Bhattrena Halli, Vijayapura Tk. As already said i had missed the Road due to Confusion. Now it meant that i go back towards Devanahalli & take a deviation in between to visit this temple. But to be honest, I have never seen such a Wonderful temple of Sai Baba till now & all the credit goes to the Priest at Budigere who made me enthusiastic to visit the temple & get the blessing of Shirdi Sai. More about Battrena Halli temple in the next Article.
