I was at Shahpur on 18th Dec 2010 for personal work & in the evening i wanted to visit a Sai Baba Temple. As i had already visited the Sai Baba Temple at Shahpur, i wanted to visit some other sai baba temple in the nearby locality this time. I enquired the Auto Driver & finally landed at this temple inside the IDPL Colony.
Auto Ricksaw Fares are very expensive owing to the fuel prices & it is always better to travel by public transport or share Autos. I was not knowing much about the locality & ended up paying more towards visiting this temple.
But i was completely in peace of mind after visiting the temple at IDPL Colony. From the Main Road this temple is not quite visible but once we enter inside the Colony Roads we could see this temple towards the left hand side.
This temple is quite old in this locality & the Temple was inaugurated & Prana Prathistha was performed on 06th May 1995. This temple was featured among Top Ten Sai Baba Temple in Hyderabad during a Poll in Zee Tv Telugu News Channel.
Though this temple is not maintained that well but still Sai Baba is pleasant & ever smiles at his Devotees. Baba is sitting on a Beautiful Silver Simhasan & a Silver Arch with Vishnu's Dasa Avatar Embossed on it is behind the Simhasan. Small Statue of Sai Baba is placed near the Main Statue & used as Utsav Murthy.
Nandhi Is sitting in front of Sai Baba at the Entrance. Anna Danam Hundi is also placed next to Nandi at the entrance of this temple. Towards the left hand side of the entrance, there is Baba's Dwarakamai & Gurusthan.
Dhuni has been ever light & all the new temples in the vicinity are approaching this temple to carry the Dhuni & start their own Dwarakamai.
A Small Marble Statue of Sai Baba is also present in Gurusthan below the Neem Tree. A Lendi Baug with a Small Pond has been created in front of the temple. There is a dedicated place to break the coconut.
Every Thursday there is Special Puja, Aarti, After Noon Annadanam & Palki utsav is conducted in the evening after the Dhoop Aarti.
In Whole this temple is really beautiful & Peaceful & Sai Baba is looking quite contented & Happy. He is ever Smiling & Blessing all his devotees.
It is Time for Such Old & Famous temples to under go Maintenance & be Preserved. Sai Devotees instead of building new temple in a very close by colony less than 1 - 2 Kms could work together to improve & maintain the already existing temple around their vicinity. This is my Humble Thought & Request to all the Sai Devotees around the World. I do not wish to hurt their Sentiments by saying this. Just Introspect yourself.
