This is the 7th & Final Temple visited by me during my 8th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Chennai on Friday 23rd Sep 2011.
My 8th Pilgrimage at Chennai Started with a Visit to:
This temple of Sai Baba is located near to Power House & Ram Theatre at South Sivan Street in Kodambakkam Area.
This temple or Prayer Hall has been installed at one of the Shops owned by Sri S R Munirathnam, a Stanch Sai Devotee from 1960's onwards to Help Sai Devotees in near by area to worship him & to get the blessings of Sri Sai Baba.
Due to the Inspiration of Sri Keshavaiah ji the Founder of Shenoy Nagar Sai Baba Temple Sri Munirathnam started following Sai Baba's Principles & frequently visiting & being a Part of Sai Temples at Shenoy Nagar & Mylapore. Sri Munirathnam wanted to perform Sai Seva in his own unique way & to help Devotees come closed to Sai Baba.

In 2005 A Small Clay Statue of around 2.5ft height of Sri Sai Baba was installed in the premises owned by him & special Puja & Prayers were performed on Daily Basis. Annadanam being a part of this temple is performed on all the thursdays.
Being a Lucky Charm to lot of devotees in the near by Area, Sai Devotees & Devotees mainly in trade business visit this temple on thursdays & saturdays & Annadanam & sweets are distributed in very large quantities. Around 300 - 500 Sai Devotees visit this temple on thursday & also attend the Annadanam program.
A Small Utsav Murthy of Sai Baba is also installed next to baba statue & palki seva is performed on special days. Potraits of Famous Saints of India are also fixed on the walls. It is quite peaceful & rejuvinating to Speak to Sri Munirathnam who attends to all Sai Devotees & gives them full attention, Luv & Care.
It was Indeed a Pleasant Moment visiting this place of Worship & to end my 8th Pilgrimage Successfully. The 9th Pilgrimage was successfully performed again at Chennai between 10th October to 14th oct 2011 & 5 Temples were covered during this trip. More on this from the Coming Article on Pilgrimage Series.
