New Year 2013 was Celebrated at Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir at Amarjyothi Layout for the first time after it was opened in 2012 in a very Traditional way.
On the Occasion of New Year 2013, Sai Baba was given Sheerabishek followed by Alankar. All the Aarti's were performed as per the timings & the temple was opened for the complete day from 5:30am till 10:00pm.
There was steady flow of devotees visiting the Sai Baba Temple for the Occasion. Sai Baba Devotees were fed with various prasads at different times all through the Day.
In the evening as 1st Jan 2013 was on Tuesday & it was again Sankasta Hara Chaturthi Day, a Very Auspicious Day to Lord Ganesha, The temple was filled with Devotees who were waiting to perfrom Special Puja to lord ganesh during the Sun Set in front of the Ganesh temple that is at the entrance of Sai Baba Mandir.
Around 100 families performed Samuhika Sankasta Chaturthi Vrath in the evening. After the Completion of the Vrath, Shej Aarti to Sri Sai Baba was performed in the temple premises.
