This is the eighth Temple on which i'm writing article that I visited during my 17th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Visakhapatnam & Kakinada between 17th July 2013 till 26th July 2013.
This is the 7th temple to be visited at Visakhapatnam under the Pilgrimage Series for my Sai Photo Blog.

A Successful visit & after a tasty Prasad of Pongal at the Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Sankshema Seva Sangam Mandir, NH 5 Junction, we headed towards Sri Sai Baba Kanaka Durga Mandiram on NH 5 Road towards Steel Plant.
One has to take the Service lane & it is around 2kms from NH 5 Junction, Akkayyapalem Road to this temple. The temple is at Left Hand side while travelling to Steel Plant.
A Two Floor Building of Sri Sai Baba Welcomed us. Completely covered with Steel Gates, Railings etc, one has to enter through a Narrow gate inside the temple Premises. On the First floor a 4ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba is installed along with Sanctums for Goddess Kanaka Durga & Kanaka Mahalakshmi [ Village Goddess/Diety]. A Well Designed Brass Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba.
After the initial Darshan, Aarti & Theerth Prasad, we got the permission to take some snaps of the Sanctum in this temple. Though no one in Particular was available to guide us & give information about the temple, temple activities even though it was a thursday, we went around & took the snaps of the Sanctums of this temple.
On the Ground floor the Dhyan Mandir with a 4 ft Marble Statue of Sai Baba installed in it is present. A Statue for Satya Sai is also recently installed in 2012 after his demise.
Daily Puja, Abhishek, Aarti is performed in the temple as per Agama Shastra & Annadanam is performed every thursday after the Madhyan Aarti. Around 50 - 100 People are fed with prasad meals every thursday.
Special puja's to Kanaka Durga is performed on friday at the temple sanctum. Palki Seva is performed on Thursday & Special Days around the temple premises. Bhajans are performed on thursdays & special Days here.

Highlights of this Temple:
1. This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba along with Kanaka Durga is built on the NH 5 Road towards Steel plant at Kanchara Palem.The Speciality of the temple being that there are two 4 Ft Marble Statues of Sri Sai Baba installed on the ground as well as the 1st Floor of the Temple Complex..
2. The Two Floor Temple building houses the Sanctums of 4ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba along with Kanaka Durga & Kanaka Mahalakshmi [ Village Goddess/Diety] Statues on the First Floor & Similar 4ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba with a Statue of Satya Sai on the Ground Floor.
Daily Sheerabishek & Weekly Pancha Mrutha Abhishekam is performed on thursdays to the main diety in the temple.
A Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba on the 1st floor of the temple.A Prabhavali/ Arch has been installed behind the statue of Baba in the ground floor. Ground floor is used a Dhyan Mandir & devotees can perform meditation by seeing the full size statue of Sai Baba.
3. Special Puja, Abhishek, Annadanam, Spiritual Programs, Bhajans & other rituals are conducted during Sankaranthi, Ugadi, Sri Ramanavami, Guru Poornima, Gokulashtami, Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi & Datta Jayanthi.
4. Sai Baba Bhajans are held on special Days. Annadanam is performed on every thursday after the Noon Aarti & upto 50 people are fed with meals.
5. Special Puja's are performed for Kanaka Durga during Navratri. Kumkum Archana & other puja's are performed during Friday's & Dussehra.
6. Palki Seva & Bhajans are performed on Thursday & other important Special Days in the temple.
