Today we visit the Famous Shirdi Sai Baba Shetram at Gollala Mamidada, East Godavari Dist. of Andhra Pradesh. This village is about 20kms from Kakinada. This is our 5th Sai Temple visit in & around Kakinada & East Godavari Dist.

Special Features of this Sai Baba Temple

1. This Village is well known for its Rama, Surya Narayana and Ayyappa Temple.

2. The people of this village follow the Vaishnava Sampradaayam (mode of Vishnu/Tirupati). So, they put Red longitudinal Namam to Gods Rama, Surya and even Sai Baba.

3. Rama Temple has a 300 year history and is famous for Addala Mandapam (A room of Mirrors) and the Rays of Sun falls on the feet of Lord Surya Narayana twice every year due to the Mirror setting.

4. All the 4 Aarthis are held in this temple as per Shirdi Sansthan Guidelines.

5. Goshala - shed for cows is maintained.

6. Annadanam is done on every Thursday after the Madhyan Aarti.

7. Transport: Bus service is there but in less number. Frequency of Auto Service is every 10 minutes which charges around Rs.15/- for each Passenger.
