Today we are going to visit the Sri Naga Sai Mandir at Sasikanta Nagar in Kakinada. This temple is built with in a Paddy Field near to Padmavati Nurse Training Centre. It is also very near to the Kakinada Beach & People visiting the Beach make it a point to visit this temple.
This temple is maintained by the Nurse Training Centre & Sai Devotees are allowed to perform puja to Sai baba by their own hands.
This temple was initially built as there used to be lot of snake menace in the surrounding areas & the casualties due to Snake bites were increasing. Thus Naga Sai Temple was built.
