This is the twenty third Temple on which i'm writing article that I visited during my 17th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Visakhapatnam & Kakinada between 17th July 2013 till 26th July 2013.

After visiting the Sri Sai Baba Dhyana Mandiram near Navodhaya Campus at Kommadi, we visited one more temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Kotta Venkoji Palem on our way back to home.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built on the Nh 5 Highway at Kotta Venkoji Palem. When travelling on NH 5 from Visakhapatnam, this temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is visible to the right of the Road.

This is a very beautiful temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba & has been maintained by the Grama Seva Sangam of the Kotta Venkoji Palem Area.

A 4.5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba along with  Pancha Loha Statues of Ganeshji, Sai Baba & Dattatreya used as Utsav Murthy has been installed in front of the Statue of Sai Baba in this temple premises.

A 1.5ft Marble Statue of Ganesh & Dattatreya have been installed towards the left & right side of the main sanctum of Sai Baba. A Brass Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba & looks quite appealing.

Dhuni has been installed in front of the Main Entrance of the temple Premises.

Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Sri Ramanavami, Guru Poornima & Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

Highlights of this Temple:

1. This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built on the Nh 5 Highway at Kotta Venkoji Palem. When travelling on NH 5 from Visakhapatnam, this temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is visible to the right of the Road.

This is a very beautiful temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba & has been maintained by the Grama Seva Sangam of the Kotta Venkoji Palem Area.

2. A 4.5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba along with  Pancha Loha Statues of Ganeshji, Sai Baba & Dattatreya used as Utsav Murthy has been installed in front of the Statue of Sai Baba in this temple premises.

3. A 1.5ft Marble Statue of Ganesh & Dattatreya have been installed towards the left & right side of the main sanctum of Sai Baba. A Brass Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba & looks quite appealing.

4. Dhuni has been installed in front of the Main Entrance of the temple Premises.

5. Sheerabishekam is performed daily & Panchamrutha Abhishekam is performed on every thursday & special day to the main statue of Sai Baba.

6. Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Sri Ramanavami, Guru Poornima & Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

After the Darshan, we took a break & went back to home. After the evening Tea Session, My Brother in Law took us to Simhachalam to have a Darshan of Sri Varaha Narasimha Swami.

While returning back we got the Opportunity to visit some more temples of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba near to Simhachalam Hillock. We visited the Sri Sri Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Vari Alayam, Sri Sai Madhava nagar, Naidu Thotha, Off Simhachalam Main Road, Visakhapatnam to have the darshan of 5.5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba. After visiting the Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandiram & Asta Lakshmi Alayam at Kommadi, we can to know about the existence of yet another Small temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba at Kommadi near to the Navodhaya Campus.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built Opp to the Jnurm Housing Society Sector 3. When coming from Navodhaya, this temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is visible to the left of the Road & the Housing Society to the Right of the Road.

This is a small but very beautiful temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba & has been maintained by the residents of the Housing Society.

A 2.5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba along with  Marble Naga Abaran [ 5 Headed Serpent Hood] attached to the Statue of Baba has been installed in this temple premises.

A 1ft Black stone Statue of Lakshmi sametha Ganesh & Dattatreya have been installed towards the left & right side of the main sanctum of Sai Baba. A Brass Prabhavali has been installed behind the statue of Sri Sai Baba.

we returned home after visiting the Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Sanctum at Bhairagi Matham & Kanaka Maha Lakshmi Temple at 1 town, Visakhapatnam on the Day # 2. My sister suggested that we start from home the next day after early lunch by 10:00am to visit Sai Baba temples which are on the NH 5 Highway leading towards Vizianagaram.

On Saturday, 20th July 2013, I started my Day # 3 of Pilgrimage to Sai Temples & visited my 20th temple at Visakhapatnam & 1st temple for the Day. I got up by 7am, got ready & performed Puja & Meditation at Home. Later Helped my sister with some activities at home. After having a Early Lunch by 10am we headed towards Kommadi which is around 14kms from Visakhapatnam to visit this very famous of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba along with a Asta Lakshmi Alayam.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba has been built by Sri Ammula Samba Siva Rao, who has also built the famous 116ft Statue of Sai Baba at Repur Sai Baba Mandir, Kakinada Town.

This temple is a two floor building with the Main Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba on the first floor & a Dhyana Mandir in the Ground Floor.

A 5.5ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba along with 3ft Marble Statue of Ganesh & Dattatreya have been installed on the 1st floor of the temple premises. A Beautiful Silver Prabhavali has been installed behind the statue of Sri Sai Baba.

A 1ft Marble Statue of Sai Baba used as Utsav Murthy is also installed in front of the Main Statue of Sri Sai Baba. Sai Baba's Paduka has been installed in front of Baba.

Above the Sanctum of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, A Cement Statue of Sai Baba in sleeping Posture on a 5 headed Serpent bed similar to that of Adishesha/ Vishnu sleeping on the 5 headed Serpent has been designed & is a Highlight in this temple premises.

In the Ground floor a 4ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed in the Dhyan Mandir. Sai Devotees following Sri Ammula Samba Siva Rao usually take pilgrimages & during such time use the Dhyan mandir as a Rest Room to take some break & then to proceed further.

Dhuni has been installed in the temple Premises towards the Left & Gurusthan with Neem Tree & Lendi Baug has been installed at the entrance of the temple towards the Right side.

Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Sri Ramanavami, Guru Poornima & Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

Daily Bhajans are performed in the temple after the evening Dhoop Aarti.

After visiting the Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba along with sanctum of Nagaswara at Sri Shiva Sai Mandir, Rama Chandra Nagar, Off 80ft Main Road, Akkayyapalem, Visakhapatnam, I took a break from our morning session for the Day.

After Breakfast, I planned to go out again to visit some more Sai Baba temples, but the Slight Drizzling played a Spoil Sport & i had to eventually sit at home & take a complete break in the noon.

Being a Friday, My Sister wanted to take me to this very Famous Temple of Kanaka Maha Lakshmi, which is also a village goddess of Visakhapatnam City. So we decided to visit the sanctum of Kanaka Maha Lakshmi for the evening Puja & also to visit a Temple of Sai Baba if any near to the sanctum of Kanaka Maha Lakshmi.

As we headed to the 1 Town Area near to the Visakhapatnam Port to visit the temple of Kanaka Maha Lakshmi, we came to know about the existence of a Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba at the Bhairagi Matham which is very close to the Kanaka Maha Lakshmi Temple.

After the Special Darshan at the Kanaka Maha Lakshmi Temple Sanctum, we headed towards the sanctum of Sri Sai Baba at Bhairagi Matham. This Mutt is near to the M V D M High School at 1 town Area. Though the Mutt has been maintained for a very long time, not much of details about the working of the mutt could be collected.

This temple of Sri Sai Baba is old & famous in 1 town area at Visakhapatnam. It has a 5.5ft Marble Statue of Sai Baba installed in the temple Sanctum.

Pancha Loha Utsav Murthy of Sri Sai Baba has been installed in front of the statue of Sai Baba. Sai Baba's Marble Paduka has been installed in front of the statue. A Marble Nandi has also been installed in front of the state of Sai Baba. A Black Granite Statue of Sri Sai Baba of 2ft Height along with Marble statue of Ganeshji & Dattatreya have been installed behind the sanctum of Sai Baba near to the Neem Tree.

A Statue of Sri Paada Sri Vallabha has also been installed in the temple premises. A Chavadi has been maintained with the potrait of Sri Sai Baba.

After the Darshan, Me & My Sister returned home as it was around 7:00pm. My day # 2 of Pilgrimage ended after the visit to this temple of Sai Baba at Bhairagi Matham. We wanted to reach home in time & we decided to visit more temples the next morning.

We had seen 10 temples on Day # 2 - Friday, 19th July 2013 during the 17th Pilgrimage of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Visakhapatnam. In Total 19 temples were covered on the 1st & 2nd Day of the 17th Pilgrimage.

This is the Ninteenth Temple on which i'm writing article that I visited during my 17th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Visakhapatnam & Kakinada between 17th July 2013 till 26th July 2013.

This is the 18th temple to be visited at Visakhapatnam under the Pilgrimage Series for my Sai Photo Blog.

After visiting the Sanctum of Sri Sai Baba along with sanctum of ganesh at Sri Sri Sri Sai Ganesh Puja Mandir, Opp. B V K College Lane, Sri Nagar, Visakhapatnam we headed towards the final temple of our morning session for the Day.

This temple of Sri Sai Baba is old & famous in this area around Akkayyapalem. It has a 3ft Marble Statue of Sai Baba installed in the temple Sanctum.

The Foundation Stone for this Temple was laid on 04th December 1997 & the temple was inaugurated on February 1999 & a 3ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba was installed in the temple Premises.

A Brass Simhasan has been installed around the statue of Sri Sai Baba. Pancha Loha Utsav Murthy of Sri Sai Baba, Shiva Lingam with Silver Naga Abaran [ 5 Headed Snake Cover] & Brass Statues of Durga Devi & Sri Chakram have been installed in front of the statue of Sai Baba.

The Arch on the main road towards the temple of the Sai Baba has been designed well with the Cement Statues of Durga, Sai Baba & Lakshmi. Statue of  Nageshwara - Sarpa Raja has been installed in the temple Premises towards the Right.

Dhuni has been installed in the temple Premises towards the Right & Gurusthan with Neem Tree has been installed at the entrance of the temple towards the right side & visible from the entrance of the temple .

Special Puja & Abhishek are conducted on Thursday & during Ugadi, Sri Ramanavami, Guru Poornima & Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

Highlights of this Temple:

4. Special Puja, Abhishek, Annadanam, Spiritual Programs, Bhajans & other rituals are conducted during Temple Anniversary 0n 07th February every year, Ugadi, Sri Ramanavami, Guru Poornima, Gokulashtami, Vijayadashmi - Sai Baba Punyathithi & Datta Jayanthi.

5. Sheerabishekam is performed Daily & Panchamrutha Abhishekam is performed on every thursday & special Days in the temple sanctum.

6. Sai Palki Utsav is performed on Guru Pournima & Sai Punyathithi & the Palki is taken around the Rama Chandra Nagar Area & Surrounding Area amidst the Chant of Sai Bhajans, Sai Namam & Dhool & Band Set.

This temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba is at Rama Chandra Nagar, Srinivasa Nagar, Visakhapatnam. This temple is on the right side of the Rama Chandra Nagar Main Road off Akkayyapalem 80ft Main Road.

After the Darshan, we took the break for the morning session as my Niece had to return back to her home for her other important activities for the day. Though i wanted to go for more temple visits after the morning breakfast at around 10:30am, I had to cancel my session as there was slight drizzling.

Finally in the evening, My sister accompanied me again & this time we visited the famous Kanaka Mahalakshmi Temple in Visakhapatnam which has no roof on top of the statue of the Deity.

A 5.5ft Marble Statue of Sai Baba at Bhairagi Matham Sanctum, 1 Town was nearby to the temple of Kanaka Mahalakshmi & we ended our day 2 of Pilgrimage by visiting the Sanctum of Sai Baba at Bhairagi Matham. More on this temple in the Next Article.
