This is the 31th Temple visited by me during my 13th Pilgrimage to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temples at Rajahmundry on Monday, 19th Mar 2012.

My 13th Pilgrimage at Rajahmundry Started with a Visit to:
1st Route of 8 temples in West Godavari Dist Near Rajahmundry.
2nd Route of 6 temples Near Railway Station in Rajahmundry.

3rd Route of 6 temples Near Pushkar Ghat in Rajahmundry.
4th Route of 4 temples Near A V Appa Rao Road in Rajahmundry.
5th Route of 5 temples in Rajahmundry - Kakinada Road.

Sri Kanaka Durga Shirdi Sai Mandir, Near R K Mutt, Korukonda Road, Rajahmundry.

This temple of Sri Sai Baba has been built at Burugupodi Village, around 25kms from Rajahmundry Town & 3 Kms from Rajahmundry Airport towards Korukonda.

This temple Started as a Bhajan Mandal during 1980's & would perform regularly at Sai Devotees home. The group later on planned to build a temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba & finally on 27th March 2002, the temple of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was inaugurated at Burugupodi village.

A 2 florey building with Baba's Dwarakamai Mandir on the ground floor & Baba's Dhyan Mandir on the First Floor have been installed in the temple premises.

Baba's Dwarakamai Mandir has been Air Conditioned. A 5.6ft Marble Statue of Sri Sai Baba has been installed along with the Utsav Murthy of Sri Sai Baba.

Daily Aarti, Abhishek, Archana, Puja & Nithya Annadanam with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are done here under the supervision of Sri M Rama Rao.

Bhajans & Satsangs are performed regularly on Thursdays. Baba's Unjal Seva is performed after the night Shej Aarti & Baba's Utsav murthy is made to rest.

Special Puja, Alankar & Annadam Seva are performed on Sri Rama Navami, Guru Pournima & Sai Punyathithi.

Baba's Nama Sankeerthana is performed on Sri Rama Navami. Special Puja & Full Day Ashtothara Shatanamavali are performed on Guru Pournima & Samadhi Mahotsavam is performed on Sai Punyathithi.

From the year 1990, 30 days Non Stop Nama Sankeerthana is performed after taking evening bath at River Godavari on the Deepawali Day. Prices are distributed to the Devotees performing the Best Nama Sankeerthana to encourage devotees.

After 30 day Nama Sankeerthana, Pligrimage to Tirupati is performed from the Temple. Hill is climbed & on every Step Turmeric & Kumkum is applied. After reaching Tirumala hill shrine 1 week seva is performed there.

Dresses are distributed to Staff & Sadhu's on Vaikunta Ekadashi. Dresses to the Poor are distributed thrice in a year during the Special Days.
