This is the 7th Temple visited by me on my 3rd Piligrimage to Sai Temples in Bangalore on 10th October 2010. After Visiting the Sai Baba Temple at 4th Block, Rajaji Nagar, I headed towards Sri Rama Puram. The Land Mark of this temple is so easy to locate. This temple is very near to the Famous Harish Chandra Ghat Burial ground. It is a 5 Minutes walk from Harishchandra Ghat Bus stop. The Nearest Railway station would be Malleshwaram.

By the time i reached the temple, they had completed the Madhyan Aarti & they were closing the Main Door till 5pm for the After Noon Break. But as i wanted to visit Baba here, I went around the Priest & asked for a Opportunity to Spend atleast 5 minutes with Sai Baba.

The Lights were completed stitched off & even in the Mid After Noon it was Pitch Dark Inside with Little bit Sun Light from the Ventilators Provided. The Diya inside the Sanctum was still burning & it made a Special Effect on the Silver Simhasan & Sai Baba. A Radiant Glow was visible on Sai Baba. The Simhasan was also looking really good in that dim Oil Lamp.

I was able to meditate on Sai Baba for some time & later on took some snaps of Sai Baba in that pitch Dark Area. To my Surprise, the Snaps were visible & I could see Baba Clearly in the Snaps.
Two Small Utsav Murty of Sai Baba can been seen. One is Pancha Loka & Other one is a marble Statue.

There is a Big Meditation Hall in the First Floor where Bhajans, Vedic Chanting Classes & Other Satsangs are conducted periodically.

This, "Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir" project at Julepalle near Nandyal Andhra Pradesh was started 16 years ago by Late Shri Donepudi Lakshminarayana.

In the Temple the main Idol is of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba for which Sai Bhajans by Sri Balakrishna Bhajana Mandali were held in the complex on 15/07/1993 and had continued for 108 weeks. After completion of 108 weeks, there was Annadana.

The Two other Idols in the temple are of Lord Sri Sita Rama (Rama Darbar) and Lord Sri Krishna. The complex has a "Kalyana Mantapa" or marriage hall along with a kitchen.

It was a day everybody was waiting for. After many years of toil, the Shri Sai Baba Trust, Julepalle was finally able to complete the Idol Installation Ceremony (Vigraha Pratishta) in a grand way. The ceremony was spread over 3 days starting from 31st May to 2nd June. All the ceremonies as per the scheduled programme were conducted amidst Vedic chanting by the priests. The pratishta was done by Shri Donepudi Venkata Subrahmanya Sastry, President of the Shirdi Sai Baba Trust who was ably assisted by all other committee members.

After the Ganapati Puja, Navagraha Japa, Yantra Puja and Mantaparadhana in the morning of day 1, all the idols were taken for Jaladhivasamu in the night. The idols were immersed in a water tank specially constructed for this occasion. Next day in the morning, abhishekam was done to all the idols after their overnight immersion in water. The idols were then taken through the village in a procession. Later in the day, all the idols were taken for dhanyadhivasamu (immersion in grains). After the overnight dhanyadhivsamu, pushpadhivasamu and saiyyadhivasamu, the idols were put in their respective places after the ‘Yantra Puja’. After the Yantra Puja for each idol, the formal pratishta was done amidst Vedic chants and pujas. The following idols were installed in the temple premises:-

1. Sri Shirdi Sai Baba (Main Idol)
2. Sri Ram Durbar (Sri Rama, Lakshmana, Sita and Hanuman)
3. Lord Krishna
4. Lord Ganapati
5. Goddess Saraswati
6. Lord Dattatreya
7. Lord Hanuman
8. Lord Siva (Siva Lingam) including Nandi
9. Navagrahas

An idol of Late Sri Donepudi Lakshminarayana was also installed in the old temple premises by his younger brother Sri Donepudi Venkayya. A remembrance meeting was organized during which Sri Donepudi Lakshminarayana’s vision, his steely resolve and his overall personality were praised by one and all. His absence was felt by everybody and there was no doubt in anybody’s mind that had he been alive, the event would have been grander. A booklet containing articles written about him was also released on the occasion.

The above event was competently organized by Sri Donepudi Naresh Babu, the Secretary to the Sai Baba Trust. He was assisted by many volunteers from the village. The three day event was attended by many VIP’s and over 5000 people including those from neighboring villages. Nitya Annadanam was done on all the three days during this event.

The Vigraha Pratishta was a grand event which was held after lot of hardship and difficulties. It was the blessings of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba showered on the villagers and the members of the Shirdi Sai Baba Trust which enabled them to complete the event successfully. Let us all pray to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba to continue to shower his blessings on one and all.

The Arya Vysya Samaj of Rajaji Nagar on 13th Nov 2002 arranged for a meeting to discuss about the much awaited construction of Arya Vysya/ Kanika Parameshwari Mata Temple in Rajaji Nagar a Suburb of Bangalore City. As Decided the Construction work commenced after a trust by name Rajaji Nagar Vasavi Charitable Trust(R) was formed with a total of 37 Trustee Members on Board.

This temple was constructed in stages & on later dates with Approval of the Board a Sanctum for Shirdi Sai Baba was Constructed in the Temple Premises.

On Vasavi Jayanthi, Sunday, 07th May 2006 the Prana Prathistha & Kumbabishekam ceremony was performed. The Speciality on this occasion being Flowers were showered from a Helicopter on the Raja Gopuram & Vimana Gopuram.

The other Dieties in the Temple are Karya Siddhi Vinaya & Sri Kanika Parameshwari Mata.

Special Puja is performed on Every Thursday & Sunday. There is a Special Puja for Vasavi Mata on Fridays. Ram Navami, Guru Poornima, Punya Thithi, Vasavi Jayanti, Ugadi are celebrated with Special Abhishekam & Puja.

All the Four Aarti are Sung as per Shirdi Guidelines in the temple every Day. This temple has been a Boon to Sai Devotees residing at Rajaji Nagara. Previously they had to travel till Malleshwaram to Visit him.

This temple is well connected with the public transport System in Bangalore. The Nearest Bus Stop would be Bashyam Circle/ ESI / Ram Mandira Stop.

The Speciality of this temple being, A Hukkah/ Water Pipe is placed next to the Statue of Shirdi Sai Baba. Sai Baba used to love smoking Hukkah or Chilim.

There is a Meditation Hall in the temple Premises. Ladies take part in reading of Spiritual Text & Chanting Mantra's.

Today we visit the Famous Shirdi Sai Baba Shetram at Gollala Mamidada, East Godavari Dist. of Andhra Pradesh. This village is about 20kms from Kakinada. This is our 5th Sai Temple visit in & around Kakinada & East Godavari Dist.

Special Features of this Sai Baba Temple

1. This Village is well known for its Rama, Surya Narayana and Ayyappa Temple.

2. The people of this village follow the Vaishnava Sampradaayam (mode of Vishnu/Tirupati). So, they put Red longitudinal Namam to Gods Rama, Surya and even Sai Baba.

3. Rama Temple has a 300 year history and is famous for Addala Mandapam (A room of Mirrors) and the Rays of Sun falls on the feet of Lord Surya Narayana twice every year due to the Mirror setting.

4. All the 4 Aarthis are held in this temple as per Shirdi Sansthan Guidelines.

5. Goshala - shed for cows is maintained.

6. Annadanam is done on every Thursday after the Madhyan Aarti.

7. Transport: Bus service is there but in less number. Frequency of Auto Service is every 10 minutes which charges around Rs.15/- for each Passenger.
