As told earlier in my Previous Article, I was in Hyderabad between 2nd Aug 2010 & 4th Aug 2010. I got an opportunity to visit some Sai Temples in Hyderabad on 3rd Aug & i was accompanied by the family friend.
We started our day with a Visit to
Shirdi Sai Mandir, Chaderghat, Hyderabad

After the Visit, we headed towards a Sai Temple near to Kacheguda. But due to confusion in the road & also that most of the people around there were not able to guide us properly towards the temple we hoped to visit, we finally asked the Auto Ricksaw driver to take us to Some Sai Temple near by & we finally landed here at Lingampalli Sai Baba Temple.
From the Main road the temple is at a distance of around 50 mtrs. less than a minutes walk. A Arch of Sai Baba welcomes us at the Main Road. after covering a distance of 25 mtrs we can clearly see the Side Wall of Sai Baba Temple.
This Sai Temple is a two Storied building with Sai Baba Statue in the First floor & Dwarakamai in the ground floor.
We headed towards Sai Baba Statue. The Marble statue of Sai baba is magnificent. He was sitting on a Silver Throne wearing a Light Colour dress. We were allowed to touch the idol of Sai Baba & it was my first experience to Sai Baba Marble Statue.
I was so happy that i had tears of Joy from my eye. After my friend took the blessing of Sai Baba i went to him. I bow my head towards his feet. I kissed his feet with joy & happiness. I touched his feet. I massaged his foot, Legs. Knee, Ankle.
Some Purohit smiled at me & said: "Don't massage him too much, it will pain him rather than sooth him". I too smiled at him. I touched baba for the last time. I touched his hands. kissed his hands & took his blessings.
I was coming out of the Sanctum, the same purohit called us again. he asked us to sit next to the Sai Baba Statue. As told by him, we sat next to Sai baba Statue. He asked our Names, Gothra, Nakshathra & Rashi. I understood that he is going to perform Sankalpam & then Sai Baba Ashtothara Shatanamavali.
I thought that Baba wanted me to perform Ashtothara Shatanamaval. We happily shared our Names & other details. After sankalpam, we were given some rice mixed with turmeric( Akshatha) & we are asked to put one at a time on Baba while he chants the 108 names of Baba. We performed Ashtothara. Then we got a Chance to show the Aarti to Sai Baba.
My Day was done. I was the most happiest. It is very hard to get such oppurtunity to do such Sai Seva. I then spoke to the Purohit & we happily exchanged some thoughts. Later on I came to know that Sai Satya Vrath is conducted at the Temple. Any Devotee interested in doing so should give him name & details to the temple 2 days in advance & the Sai Satya Vrath will be conducted on the day of request.
The fees for the same was very nominal. I would like to perform some time during my next trip to Hyderabad.
Sai Baba is sitting on a Wonderful Silver Throne & the Dome above him is well designed & decorated in persian Style. Not to forget that i'm in Hyderabad & this place is famous for its Nizam Architecture. I could feel that i'm in Hyderabad the land of Nizams by the designs in most of the temples.
Towards the Left hand side there is a Palki & Utsav Murthy of Shirdi Sai Baba. Later on we went to the ground floor to have a Darshan of Sai Baba at Dwarakamai. he was sitting pleasently. Behind Sai Baba, there was a Water cooler. I thought baba had kept this to give water to one & all who visit him there. I too went forward to Drink some water.
Later on we headed towards Sai Baba Temple at Bhag Amberpet, Shivam Road. More on this temple in the coming Article.
